BTPN Syariah Q1 Performance Records Positive Momentum, Assets Up 7% Jakarta, 27 April 2026 – PT Bank BTPN Syariah Tbk recorded a positive performance in the first quarter of 2026, supported by financing growth and improved portfolio quality. This achievement reflects the effectiveness of the Bank’s strategy to strengthen customer assistance, which remains its primary focus in serving the inclusive community. Financing disbursement continued to be strengthened through a mentoring-based model aimed at enhancing customer capacity and fostering exemplary behavior. Each financing facility is complemented by staff guidance to ensure customers are able to adopt the four key BDKS behaviors of Courage to do Business, Discipline, Hard Work, and Mutual Support. “The momentum in the first quarter signifies the contribution from our mentoring model to financing quality. We are seeing increased customer trust and business resilience, which ultimately strengthens the Bank’s overall quality. Financing quality has become the main driver of profit growth in this first quarter. In 2026, the Bank continues its focus from the previous year, while also driving sustainable growth amid existing challenges,” said Fachmy Achmad, Director of BTPN Syariah. He added that this achievement is the result of collaboration among all parties in empowering the inclusive community to adopt exemplary behaviours as a key to success. The success of financing disbursement is inseparable from the role of Community Officers (COs) as the Bank’s frontliners who are directly present in customer centres. Through Regular Centre Meetings (PRS), COs provide assistance using modules tailored to ultra-micro business conditions. In addition, COs act as role models in implementing BDKS behaviours while strengthening solidarity among customers within each centre. In line with its positive performance, the Bank continues to optimize internal processes to ensure sustainable growth. In the first quarter of 2026, the Bank enhanced the capacity of Community Officers to deliver more effective and responsive assistance. Meanwhile, strong center management serves as a foundation for long-term growth. The Bank also introduced reward programs to encourage customer discipline in attending meetings and prepared product diversification initiatives for growing customers through more comprehensive services within the BTPN Syariah ecosystem. Throughout the first quarter of 2026, BTPN Syariah recorded a net profit of Rp319 billion. Total assets reached Rp23.2 trillion, up 7% YoY, while financing disbursement amounted to Rp10.6 trillion, growing 4% YoY. Financial ratios remained solid, as reflected in a Return on Assets (RoA) of 7.1% and a Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) of 59.2%.

About BTPN Syariah
BTPN Syariah is the only Sharia bank in Indonesia that focuses on empowering inclusive communities or
those who have not been reached by formal financial services (unbankable). Women are the main target
of empowerment because the Bank believes that when women are empowered, families will be
empowered as well. In empowering the inclusive communities, BTPN Syariah continues to perform its
function as a bank by collecting funds from prosperous families and channelling them entirely to the ultra-
micro segment. In this way, the Bank opens up opportunities for the general public to take part in
empowering the communities.
BTPN Syariah safeguards the customers’ journeys from start to finish, up until receiving all the best
rewards. This means that not only customers, but all stakeholders have the same opportunity to grow
and lead more meaningful lives.
This empowerment program is carried out by field officers or Community Officers (CO). They are
#bankirpemberdaya, young female high school graduates who are trained and highly motivated to assist
productive underprivileged families in customer centres by teaching the four excellent behaviours:
Courage to Do Business, Discipline, Hard Work, and Mutual Support (BDKS). The role of these
#bankirpemberdaya in assisting inclusive communities in various regions of Indonesia can be seen
directly on Instagram @bankirpemberdaya.btpns.
With this business focus, BTPN Syariah participates in helping to empower Indonesia’s inclusive society.
This is evident from BTPN Syariah’s internal monitoring of each customer. The results of the survey and
monitoring show that the number of customers experiencing extreme poverty continues to decline and
the number of families with school-age children is increasing.
Let’s take this opportunity to empower people through BTPN Syariah.
