Elnusa Supports the Development of Innovative Technology for
Sustainable Energy Solutions
Jakarta, 15 February 2024 – PT Elnusa Tbk (ELNUSA IDX: ELSA), a leading energy services company that is part of the
Pertamina Upstream Subholding, continues to be committed to sustainable energy solutions. Elnusa is actively involved in
various initiatives aimed at optimizing production technology and increasing oil recovery through innovative approaches.
Elnusa is now focused on developing a more environmentally friendly business in accordance with the Company's strategic
direction. One thing that has been done is the implementation of the Reservoir & Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) Study. In
2018, Elnusa successfully carried out a polymer injection EOR application in the T46 well in the Tanjung Field, Asset 5 PEP.
This service offering showcases Elnusa's expertise in reservoir modeling and simulation, specifically designed to optimize
Huff-and-Puff CO2 operations in limestone reservoirs.
In 2023, Elnusa entered into an agreement with Pertamina Hulu Rokan (PHR) to carry out reservoir stimulation technology
work for EOR in the Rokan Working Area. By collaborating with Pertamina Upstream Research and Technology Innovation
(URTI), Elnusa has been actively involved in implementing reservoir stimulation technology in the PHR WK Rokan
environment. This innovation confirms Elnusa's commitment to addressing business needs while contributing to the
sustainability of Indonesia's energy sector.
