UEFA EURO 2024 & 2028
MNC Media & Entertainment, melalui PT Rajawali Citra Televisi Indonesia (“RCTI”), anak perusahaan
yang sepenuhnya dimiliki oleh PT Media Nusantara Citra Tbk (“MNCN” atau “Perseroan”) telah
berhasil memperoleh hak siar eksklusif UEFA European Football tahun 2024 & 2028, termasuk
semua kualifikasi dan UEFA Nations League untuk wilayah Indonesia.
Tercatat sebagai salah satu ajang terbesar di dunia sepak bola, UEFA EURO sangat dinantikan oleh
para pencinta olahraga di seluruh dunia. Turnamen tersebut mempunyai rekam jejak yang
terbukti dalam memperoleh pangsa pemirsa dan rating yang tinggi, dan diidam-idamkan sebagai
salah satu pendorong utama untuk memikat penonton dan meningkatkan engagement, terutama
dengan banyaknya fanatik sepak bola di negara ini.
Perlu diketahui, pada tahun 2021, RCTI telah berhasil mengumpulkan pangsa pemirsa sebesar
25,3%, sedangkan selama periode UEFA EURO (11 Juni - 12 Juli 2021) saja, rata-rata pangsa pemirsa
untuk seluruh pertandingan UEFA EURO mencapai 38,1%, dengan angka mengesankan yaitu
50,3% hanya untuk pangsa pemirsa Final UEFA UERO.
Mengingat banyaknya tekanan yang dialami oleh industri media akhir-akhir ini, acara ini akan
menjadi katalis bagi MNCN untuk mendapatkan kembali penonton serta menarik lebih banyak
pengiklan. Selain itu, program olahraga terkemuka seperti UEFA EURO juga diharapkan dapat
memberikan dampak positif terhadap program-program lainnya, terutama meningkatkan pangsa
pemirsa dan rating terhadap program-program yang dijadwalkan tayang sebelum dan sesudah
acara tersebut, yang pada akhirnya akan meningkatkan kinerja TV FTA milik Perseroan.

Melalui kesepakatan ini, penonton Indonesia dapat mengakses pertandingan langsung UEFA EURO
2024 melalui FTA TV, Pay TV, dan superapp SVOD MNC Media & Entertainment, Vision+. Selain itu,
program/konten aktivasi lainnya (non-match) untuk acara tersebut akan tersedia di
superapp AVOD, RCTI+.
UEFA EURO 2024 dimulai di Munich pada Jumat, 14 Juni 2024 dan diakhiri dengan final di Berlin
pada 14 Juli 2024.
