AWARDS FROM VICE PRESIDENT RI & CFCD
Jakarta, 13 December 2023
PT Bumi Resources Tbk. (“BUMI” or the “Company”) through its business units PT Arutmin
Indonesia (“Arutmin”) and PT Kaltim Prima Coal (“KPC”) won a total of 19 awards at the
Indonesian Sustainable Development Award (ISDA) and Indonesian CSR Award (ICA) 2023
organized by the Corporate Forum for CSR Development (CFCD), and with support from the Office
of the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, the Coordinating Ministry for Human
Development and Culture, the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, the Ministry of National
Development Planning/National Development Planning Agency (BAPPENAS), the Ministry of
Environment and Forestry and the National Standardization Agency (BSN ) at the Westin Hotel
Jakarta (4/12).
Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. K.H. Ma'aruf Amin, officially opened the event
virtually. In his remarks, he said, “Sustainable Development is one of the government's concerns in
realizing a golden Indonesia in 2045. Therefore, the government welcomes the implementation of
ICA and ISDA in 2023 as a form of appreciation for all parties who are concerned with sustainable
development.”
This year, there were 32 ICA participating companies for corporations/institutions and 9 individual
participants, while ISDA participants consisted of 101 companies and 14 individual participants. For
total ICA awards, there were 72 programs and ISDA 172 programs participated in by state-owned
companies, private companies and CSR activist institutions in Indonesia and individuals.
Mr. Adika Nuraga Bakrie - President Director of BUMI stated “We expressed our gratitude for the
19 ICA and ISDA 2023 awards that Arutmin & KPC have received. This is reflection of the strong
national recognition of the achievements of BUMI and its business units in managing sustainable
development goals (SDGs) in supporting business performance, achieving the Company's strategic
targets, and growing sustainably amidst the serious challenges of geopolitical and economic
uncertainty. Apart from that, BUMI Group is consistently committed to supporting the government's
efforts in achieving SDGs goals.”
In this event, Arutmin won 12 awards and KPC won 7 awards. The awards are as follows:
