Seluruh Pilar Smart City membutuhkan IoT dalam penerapannya, pada industri
peternakan pun, IoT dibutuhkan dan dapat digunakan (Smart Farming). Dalam industri
ini, IoT dapat digunakan untuk tracking hewan ternak, automatic weather station, water
level monitoring, water quality monitoring, dan lainnya. Dengan adanya IoT hanya
dibutuhkan 1 (satu) Manpower dalam menjalankan semuanya itu, hal ini tentu dapat
membantu mengurangi cost. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa IoT dibutuhkan tidak terkecuali
dalam pilar Smart City apapun, sehingga diharapkan dapat terbentuknya ekosistem
Smart City berbasis IoT.

              PT Jasnita Telekomindo Tbk. Received an Award from
          Minister of Communication and Information in the IoT Category



Jakarta, 12 December 2023, PT Jasnita Telekomindo, Tbk became one of the recipients of
an award from the Indonesian Ministry of Communication and Information in the field of
Post and Informatics Operations (Ditjen PPI Kominfo RI) in 2023 in the Category of Most
Active Telecommunications Provider in Supporting the Growth of the IoT Ecosystem
Market, along with 5 other IoT providers, which is located at the Danareksa Tower. In
presenting this award, the Company was represented by Mrs. Sri Akhadah, Commercial
Director of PT Jasnita Telekomindo Tbk.

The government is trying to accelerate digital transformation to support national
economic growth. One of the efforts made is to encourage the use of the Internet of Things
(IoT), because IoT is considered to have a very important role for industry and also the
government, because it can help reduce costs while increasing organizational efficiency.

Implementing IoT in Indonesia is like building an ecosystem, so the Government and IoT
Providers must collaborate in looking at a wider market in sectors where IoT solutions
can be provided.

PT Jasnita Telekomindo Tbk. looking to start building an IoT ecosystem starting from the
most frequently used infrastructure, namely Street Lights (Smart Lighting), because
Public Street Lighting is available almost everywhere in one area. With Smart Lighting,
the City Government can carry out remote monitoring and control, scheduled lighting
dimming & settings or smart energy measurements & calculations (smart meters).

All Smart City pillars require IoT in their implementation, even in the livestock industry,
IoT is needed and can be used (Smart Farming). In this industry, IoT can be used for
tracking livestock animals, automatic weather stations, water level monitoring, water
quality monitoring, and others. With IoT, only 1 (one) manpower is needed to run
everything, this can certainly help reduce costs. This proves that IoT is needed without
exception in any Smart City pillar, so it is hoped that an IoT-based Smart City ecosystem
can be formed.
