   Commitment to Support Literacy: Elnusa together with
    Media Padang Ekspres Holds Literacy and Journalism
   Workshop for Teachers and Students in West Sumatra
Jakarta, 5 December 2023 – PT Elnusa Tbk (Elnusa), through its subsidiary Elnusa Petrofin (EPN) participated in the
Literacy and Journalism Training Workshop organized by Media Padang Ekspres at the Padang State University
Auditorium, West Sumatra, on Saturday, 2 December 2023. The event, which carried the theme Strategy for Building
a Millennial Mentality in the Digital Era, was attended by more than 1500 participants consisting of kindergarten,
elementary, middle school, high school/vocational school teachers from the districts and cities of West Sumatra
Province, students and academics from Padang State University. This workshop not only aims to commemorate
Teacher's Day but also to improve effective communication skills, especially in journalistic literacy. This workshop was
also supported by the West Sumatra Education Department and a number of District and City Education Departments.

Rommi Delfiano, Chief Editor of Padang Ekspres, Dr. Aqua Dipayana, Communication Expert and National Motivator,
and Savero Dwipayana, Digital Literacy Practitioner, were the presenters who provided in-depth insight into related
material to the participants. As part of the workshop initiative, the teachers who took part in this event had the
opportunity to express their ideas and thoughts through a special column in the Padang Ekspres media, in a section
called "Teacher's Page." With the Teacher Page, it is hoped that teachers will be motivated to write and express their
ideas through writing.

Putiarsa Bagus Wibowo, Manager of Corporate Communication & Relations at PT Elnusa Petrofin, stated,
"Participation in this workshop is a real implementation of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, namely
the Petrofin Journalist Academy. We are proud that 2023 is the third year of holding this event , shows Elnusa
Petrofin's commitment to literacy and is one of our efforts to improve good relations with the media."

The hope is that by participating in this workshop, teachers can become more creative in communicating, packaging
and conveying messages effectively. "In this event, teachers also learned about the importance of literacy for mental
development and how to increase literacy among students at school," said the Main Director of Padang Ekspres, Mhd
Nazir Fahmi.

In line with the implementation of Sustainable Development Goals (SDG's) and Environment, Social and Corporate
Governance (ESG), Elnusa Petrofin continues to emphasize its commitment to CSR in the fields of literacy and
education. In this case, in particular, it brings a positive contribution to the workshop participants and the West
Sumatra educational community.
