1. Bapak Nicholas (Investor Individu)

Page 4
2. Bapak Bobi Chandra (Analis Mandiri Sekuritas)
dapat catch-up?
pertahankan.
b. Pertanyaan : Terkait likuiditas perbankan, bagaimana pendapat manajemen terkait
potensi tekanan pada NIM akibat meningkatnya cost of fund ? Apakah bisa diberikan
proyeksi manajemen terkait cost of fund dan rasio NIM?
Jawaban :
Dijawab oleh Bapak Rudy Basyir Ahmad selaku Direktur Keuangan :
PermataBank terus berusaha melaksanakan optimalisasi dalam pengelolaan balance
sheet.
peningkatan cost of fund, kami dapat menjaga rasio NIM Perseroan.
sementara Loan Coverage meningkat.
depan.
3. Bapak Pambudi (Investor Individu)
a. Pertanyaan : Apakah Perseroan yakin bisnis ritel Bank Permata akan meningkatkan
kinerja keuangan?
Jawaban :
Dijawab oleh Ibu Djumariah Tenteram selaku Direktur Retail Banking :
Halaman 4 dari 16
Page 5
mengakselerasi maupun meningkatkan layanan digital banking.
layanan digital banking melalui PermataMobileX.
maupun belum dilayani cabang Bank Permata.
berkolaborasi bersama mitra-mitra bisnis.
4. Ibu Ema (Publik)
a. Pertanyaan : Pertanyaan untuk Bapak Josua Pardede – Baru-baru ini BI
meningkatkan suku bunga menjadi 6%, meskipun the Fed mempertahankan suku bunga
Namun terkait likuiditas, beberapa indikator likuiditas
perbankan, seperti non-core deposit, rasio DPK maupun LDR, masih menunjukkan tren
pelemahan nilai tukar rupiah.
5. Bapak Nicholas (Investor Individu)
a. Pertanyaan : Apakah Perseroan memiliki rencana membuat bank digital tersendiri?
Jawaban :

Page 6
6. Ibu Merry (Publik)
direstrukturisasi.
Demikian laporan ini kami sampaikan, atas perhatiannya kami ucapkan Terima Kasih.

1. Nicholas (Individual Investor)
a. Question : What is the composition of savings, deposits and current accounts, and
also the composition of credit based on retail, commercial and corporate?
Answer :
Answered by Rudy Basyir Ahmad as Finance Director :
In total, the composition of third party funds (DPK) in the third quarter of 2023 is
approximately 56% of total DPK contributed by CASA and the remainder from Time
Deposits. For credit composition, the retail banking segment contributes around 35% to
total bank credit per September 2023, and around 65% from the wholesale banking
segment.
b. Question : Please describe credit collectibility as of September 2023
Answer :
Answered by Setiatno Budiman as Risk Director :
Regarding credit collectibility composition, above 90% is collectibility 1, where for
collectibility 2 it is not too much, while for NPL (collectibility 3, 4 and 5) is 2.9%.
c. Question : How much is PermataMobileX user?
Answer :
Answered by Djumariah Tenteram as Retail Banking Director :
As of 30 September 2023, PermataMobileX users are around 1.5 million. The growth is
quite good; If we look from year to year, the growth is close to 20%.
d. Question : Regarding corporate loans, each bank has a different categorization,
how is the categorization at Bank Permata - how much rupiah is taken into account to be
categorized as a corporate loan, or for loans in other categories?
Answer :
Answered by Herwin Bustaman as Sharia Business Unit Director and Acting Wholesales
Banking Director :
PermataBank, credit categorization is seen from 2 (two) factors, namely sales turnover
and loan size. For credit above IDR 50 billion, it is classified as commercial.
Added by Setiatno Budiman as Risk Director :
PermataBank also looks at total assets. However, in general, anything above IDR 400
billion is classified as corporate, IDR 50 to 400 billion is classified as commercial, and
under IDR 50 billion is classified as SME.
e. Question : How much are export and non-export credit?
Answer :
Answered by Setiatno Budiman as Risk Director :
The Company does not have credit in USD currency in large amounts, and USD loan is
currently below 20% of the total portfolio. PermataBank's portfolio is mostly denominated
in Rupiah and is quite healthy.
Page 20
2. Bobi Chandra (Analyst, Mandiri Sekuritas)
a. Question : What is the aspired credit compositon in the future? Currently, the
proportion of wholesale banking is higher than that of retail banking. Will the corporate
sector be heavier in the future, or will the retail proportion catch-up? If possible, please
share what is the ideal credit composition for management?
Answer :
Answered by Rudy Basyir as Finance Director :
As for credit composition, it is true that currently the largest composition is from
corporate. However, along with the bank's strategy development in the future,
PermataBank intends to focus more on the commercial and retail segments. However,
although the growth focus will also be directed towards commercial and retail, we will still
maintain the performance of corporate credit.
b. Question : Regarding banking liquidity, what is the management's opinion regarding
potential pressure on NIM due to increasing cost of funds? Can you provide
management projections regarding cost of funds and NIM ratio?
Answer :
Answered by Rudy Basyir Ahmad as Finance Director :
PermataBank continues to strive to optimize balance sheet management. Among other
things, we continue to strive to maintain and grow our low-cost funding. The CASA ratio
is currently at 56%, and we see that there are many balance sheet optimization efforts
that can be developed. Therefore, athough in the future there is potential for an increase
in the cost of funds, we will have the ability to maintain the Company's NIM ratio.
c. Question : Regarding the Company's LAR coverage which is one of the highest in
the industry, can you provide an outlook on the Company's cost of credit (CoC)? Will
provision bookings in the next year decrease?
Answer :
Answered by Setiatno Budiman as Risk Director :
CoC is currently at 1.8%, but this is not entirely due to loan impairment. Much of this is
contributed by the additional Allowance for Impairment Losses (overlay) policy that has
been determined from the calculation model used by the Company's management. This
is done to anticipate possible downside from global economic uncertainties. It can be
seen that LAR and NPL have decreased, while Loan Coverage has increased. Thus, the
increase in CoC was not caused by a decline in portfolio quality, but due to
management's conservatism to anticipate possible economic slowdowns in the future.
3. Pambudi (Individual Investor)
a. Question : Does the Company believe that Bank Permata's retail business will
improve financial performance?
Answer :
Answered by Djumariah Tenteram as Retail Banking Director :
When observing the growth of the retail segment and developments in customer
behavior over the last 5 (five) years, we considered various strategies to accelerate and
improve digital banking services. This has become our focus from year to year, as
reflected in how we enable our customers to access retail banking products in digital
Page 4 of 16
Page 21
banking services through PermataMobileX. Our hope is that with digital banking access
to existing and potential customers, we can reach more customers in areas that are
either currently served or not yet served by Bank Permata branches. This way, business
scale-up and accelerated business growth can be realized.
Apart from that, we are also accelerating our business development by collaborating with
business partners. This is a commitment that we carry out on an ongoing basis, which
we consider as an engine that we can invest in to reach more customers and grow our
business, especially for retail banking.
4. Ema (Public)
a. Question : Question for Mr. Josua Pardede – Recently Bank Indonesia increased
interest rates to 6%, even though the Fed maintained interest rates at the last FMOC. Is
this an indication that Indonesia is starting to face liquidity problems?
Answer :
Answered by Josua Pardede as Chief Economist :
Related to Bank Indonesia's decision at the Board of Governor’s Meeting (Rapat Dewan
Gubernur/RDG) last October to increase interest rates, among other things are in
anticipation of imported inflation which might occur with the rupiah exchange rate
tending to weaken in the last 1-2 months. However, regarding liquidity, several banking
liquidity indicators, such as non-core deposits, Third Party Funds and LDR ratios, still
showed manageable levels and trends. Although there has been a decline in liquidity if
we compare with 2021 and 2022 figures, liquidity is still generally under control. Thus,
we see that Bank Indonesia's consideration is to anticipate the possible impact of
imported inflation driven by the weakening of the rupiah exchange rate.
5. Nicholas (Individual Investor)
a. Question : Does the Company have plans to create its own digital bank?
Answer :
Answered by Djumariah Tenteram as Retail Banking Director :
As of today, we do not have plans to create a special/separate digital bank. However, in
terms of digital services, we see that as a conventional bank, all the needs and features
that can be done by digital banks can also be done by conventional banks. Apart from
that, we also see that the range of conventional bank products that can be served
digitally is wider and greated in number.
6. Merry (Public)
a. Question : Question for Mr. Setiatno – we can see that the trend of debt
restructuring due to COVID-19 continues to decline. Do you see the possibility that the
remaining restructured debt will fall into NPL?
Answer :
Answered by Setiatno Budiman as Risk Director :
If we look at the trend, both the Company's LAR and NPL have decreased. Therefore, in
terms of portfolio, the Company's loan quality continues to improve. Although there is
possibility for certain loans to fall into NPL, the amount is very small. Those included in
collectibility 3, 4 and 5 are approximately less than 30% of the total that are restructured.
