Jenius Introduces KrisFlyer Miles and Traveloka Points for Real-Time
Yay Points Redemption through the App
Jakarta, November 23, 2023 – Since its introduction in October 2022, the Jenius Visa Credit Card
continues to garner enthusiasm from the digitally savvy communities, offering various conveniences
such as direct card application and management through the Jenius app. Users also benefit from easy
management of Yay Points (points on the Jenius Credit Card), including checking earned points and
redeeming them in real-time directly from the app.
Now, the Yay Points redemption becomes even more complete with the addition of the travel
category for redeeming KrisFlyer Miles and Traveloka Points. This development follows the earlier
introduction, in May 2023, when Yay Points could be redeemed for e-Wallet balances, specifically
GoPay and OVO.
In line with the spirit of continuous improvement through co-creation, in June 2023, Jenius from Bank
BTPN conducted a survey involving 121 respondents aged 22-40 to enhance the Yay Points
redemption features, ensuring they remain relevant to the needs of Jenius users. Based on the survey,
Jenius gathered several desires and user feedback regarding Yay Points redemption in the travel
category, including flight miles and e-vouchers or discounts for travel accommodation.
"Through the co-creation process, we discovered that many Jenius users enjoy collecting credit card
points, which they can exchange for vacations. Therefore, Jenius introduces the Travel category for
Yay Points redemption on the Jenius Credit Card. Now, Jenius users can redeem their Yay Points for
KrisFlyer Miles and Traveloka Points in real-time directly from the Jenius app," explained Febri Rusli,
Digital Banking Partnership Head of Bank BTPN.
Warm reception for the Jenius Credit Card was also expressed by Edwin Santoso, Co-Founder of
PinterPoin, "As an observer of credit cards in Indonesia, I see this real-time credit card point
redemption as the first in Indonesia. Combined with the Triple Yay Points promotion until the end of
2023, achieving 1 Yay Points for 1 KrisFlyer Miles equivalent to Rp3,333 makes it the best in Indonesia
until the end of the year."
The same enthusiasm for the redemption of Jenius Yay Points into KrisFlyer Miles was also expressed
by Singapore Airlines (SIA Group). As a reward program of the Singapore Airlines Group, KrisFlyer
currently has more than 7.5 million members worldwide benefiting from extensive collection and
redemption opportunities for experiences on the ground and in the air in all markets where Singapore
Airlines (SIA) operates, including Indonesia. Through this collaboration, Yay Points can easily be
redeemed into KrisFlyer Miles through the Jenius app, meaning every Yay Points earned by customers
can help them embark on their next adventure with the extensive global network of the SIA Group
(Singapore Airlines and Scoot), exploring various on-ground experiences such as hotels, retail,
restaurants, and travel experience providers in Indonesia, Singapore, and other destinations of the
SIA Group.
Welcoming this collaboration, Iko Putera, CEO of Transport at Traveloka, stated, "As the leading
travel platform in Southeast Asia, Traveloka is proud to be selected as a partner to meet the needs of

Jenius users in realizing their dream travel plans. The collaboration with Jenius comes in the form of
real-time loyalty points redemption, allowing consumers to have easier and more flexible access to
plan their trips through the Traveloka platform. With more than 20 travel products available, including
Transportation, Accommodation, and Xperience, Traveloka provides a variety of choices for
consumers, offering a convenient travel planning experience to various destinations both domestically
and internationally."
To further maximize Yay Points collection because with Jenius #SemuaAdaPoinnya (Everything has
points in Jenius), Jenius also offers the Double Yay program. Typically, for every domestic transaction
worth multiples of Rp10,000 using the Jenius Visa Credit Card, users can earn 1 Yay Point. However,
with the Double Yay program, for every domestic transaction in selected categories and international
transactions worth multiples of Rp10,000, users will earn 2 Yay Points (1 Yay Point equivalent to
Rp5,000). The selected Double Yay categories include Beauty & Fashion, Food & Beverages, Travel &
Leisures, Groceries & Gasoline.
Not only that, Jenius users can also receive a Triple Yay Points bonus (3x Yay Points) with a minimum
cumulative transaction of Rp20,000,000 per month using the Jenius Visa Credit Card. This program
increases the earning rate of the Jenius Credit Card to Rp3,333/KrisFlyer Miles during the program
period until December 2023. For a simulation of the Triple Yay Points calculation and more

As an illustration, 20,000 Yay Points can be exchanged for Singapore Airlines tickets from Jakarta to
Singapore (equivalent to 20,000 KrisFlyer Miles), can also be exchanged for 800,000 Traveloka Points,
or Rp800,000 GoPay or OVO Cash balance.
To monitor Yay Points, Jenius users can directly access them from the Jenius app on the bottom
navigation bar and select Cards. In the Card Center, tap Credit Card and scroll to the Credit Card
Information section, then select Learn More in the Yay Points box. Once on the Yay Points page, select
See Point Transactions, look the list of point transactions, and select Incoming or Outgoing for specific
information.
"With the spirit of co-creation and collaboration, Jenius is committed to continually adding more
diverse categories and merchants for Yay Points redemption in the future," concluded Febri Rusli.
