2026 BUSINESS OUTLOOK At the beginning of 2026, global economic growth is projected at around 3.2%, slightly slowing compared to the previous year due to financial market uncertainty, geopolitical tensions, and weakening global demand. Meanwhile, Indonesia’s economy demonstrates relatively strong resilience, with projected growth in the range of 4.9%–5.7%, supported by domestic consumption, investment, and the synergy of fiscal and monetary policies. However, the ongoing conflict in the Middle East may cause these projections to change. Meanwhile, the outlook for the electrical cable industry in Indonesia in 2026 remains positive, driven by increasing demand for power infrastructure development, downstreaming projects, and industrial sector expansion. Nevertheless, the industry continues to face challenges such as raw material price volatility, exchange rate pressures, and potential global supply chain disruptions.
