MAPA REMAINS RESILIENT; POSTS HIGHER GROWTH IN 9M23
Jakarta, October 30th, 2023 – PT Map Ak3f Adiperkasa Tbk (MAPA), the sports, kids and leisure
subsidiary of PT Mitra Adiperkasa Tbk (MAPI), today announced its results for 9M 2023 ending
September 30th, 2023.
In the cumula3ve 9-month period, MAPA’s net revenue experienced a posi3ve growth of 40.5%
YoY to Rp9.6 trillion from Rp6.8 trillion, with GPM improving to 48.9% compared to last year's
48.1%. Opera3ng profit increased to Rp1.5 trillion from Rp1.1 trillion, while EBITDA stood at
Rp2.1 trillion, an improvement from the Rp1.6 trillion recorded in the same period of 2022.
Addi3onally, net profit went up by 29.0% YoY to Rp1.0 trillion, from Rp804 billion in 9M 2022.
In Q3'23, MAPA reported 42.8% YoY growth in net revenue, reaching Rp3.6 trillion from Rp2.5
trillion in Q3 2022. Gross margin saw a slight decline to 48.3%, normalizing from a high base last
year due to high infla3on during the period. Opera3ng profit experienced a solid 15.2% YoY
increase to Rp557 billion, while EBITDA also con3nued to rise by 20.5% YoY to
Rp781 billion. Furthermore, net profit grew 14.9% compared to the same period last year, reaching
Rp375 billion.

School campaigns in July and a con3nuous rise in consumer demand for our Sports, Kids, and
Leisure products from our preferred brands. This was further buoyed with favorable
macroeconomic trends, as well as increasing consumer confidence within our target market, which
have increased customer foot traffic to our stores.”
The con3nuous adop3on of innova3ve technologies empowers the Company to unleash MAPA’s
full poten3al, driving sustained value crea3on over the long term. Furthermore, MAPA marked
significant milestones in its expansion efforts with the launch of Foot Locker in Vietnam and
Thailand, as well as several exclusive brands outside of Indonesia. This customer-centric approach
will remain at the forefront of the Company’s strategies as MAPA con3nues to grow and evolve in
the dynamic retail landscape.

In September 2023, MAPA was included in the FTSE (Financial Times Stock Exchange) Global Equity
Index and FTSE Global Equity Shariah Index. This recogni3on not only affirms MAPA's financial
