INAUGURATION CEREMONY
CSRA Palm Oil Mill 2
JAKARTA, October 28, 2023 – PT Cisadane Sawit Raya Tbk (Bloomberg Stock Code: CSRA IJ) conducted the
inauguration ceremony of 45 tons per hour Palm Oil Processing Plant at Tapanuli Selatan Regency, North
Sumatera today. In addition to CSRA’s Board of Directors, the ceremony was attended by Tapanuli Selatan,
officials. CSRA emphasized the inauguration for this Rp180 billion facility, which includes a palm oil
processing, office spaces, storage and distribution complex in the area. The financing for this facility was
obtained from the Company’s internal cash flow. The Palm Oil Mill known as PKS 2 will be the second
CSRA Palm Oil Processing Plant and will be operated by the Company’s subsidiary PT Samukti Karya Lestari.
PKS 2 is now operational and has successfully completed the initial test production.
PKS 2 is a palm oil processing plant that responsible for carrying out operational processes required to
extract Crude Palm Oil (CPO) and Palm Kernel (PK) from palm Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB). These processes
include boiling, piping, pressing, separating, drying, and stockpiling through a series of operational steps.
Due to its scale and capabilities, the PKS 2 stands out and will significantly contribute to driving and
accelerating the Company’s strategic plan in alignment with the criteria established by the Indonesia
Sustainable Palm Oil (ISPO). The ISPO criteria serves as foundation for the cultivation, production,
processing and trading of sustainable palm oil in the Indonesia palm oil industry. It is currently the only
sustainability standard available in Indonesia palm oil industry, making palm oil the only widely produced
edible oil that adheres to rigorous social and environmental standards.
The Rp180 billion investment in the plant is a crucial component of CSRA sustainable business strategic
development program. This initiative is designed to strengthen the company’s position as a publicly listed
palm oil Company in Indonesia and aligns with its vision of becoming a leading national agribusiness
company. The new plant will add capacity to complement CSRA’s existing Palm Oil Mill in Labuhan Batu
Regency, North Sumatera which was established in 2007.
In his remarks, Seman Sendjaja, Director of Finance & Strategic Development expressed, “Today, we are
witnessing another significant milestone with the inauguration of CSRA PKS 2. The Palm oil mill plays a
crucial role in continuously enhancing its operational best practices to strengthen operational
performance. PKS 2 will provide CSRA with stronger foundation to support long-term business growth.
We will remain focused on maximizing our productivity and maintaining cost efficiency to ensure long-
term business sustainability.”

Cisadane Sawit Raya Tbk. and its subsidiary entities are national
players that develop palm oil plantations in North Sumatra Province
and South Sumatra Province. The Company always prioritizes
effectiveness and efficiency in utilizing resources to become
reputable and integrated agribusiness companies. The company has
a Palm Oil Mill (PKS) in the plantation area which began operating in
2007 with a capacity of 45 tons per hour (tph) in Labuhan Batu
regency and another PKS with a capacity of 45 tph in Tapanuli
Selatan. The Company has a total area of 29,000 hectares with
embedded area around 20,000 hectares. Its FFB production reached
345,000 tons per year. CSRA publicly listed on the Indonesian Stock
Exchange (IDX) on 9th January 2020.
