HYPERMART AND UNITED SYNERGY CREATE CLEAN AND HEALTHY AIR

Tangerang, October 24, 2023 – PT Matahari Putra Prima Tbk (“MPPA/the Company”) the holding
company of hundreds retail store chain including Hypermart, Primo, FMX, Foodmart and Hyfresh
spread across Indonesia synergizes with PT Terang Dunia Internusa (“TDI”) as the local brand holder
of United E-Motor and United Bike in a campaign to improve air quality and reduce pollution. The
signing of this strategic partnership was held today with the symbolic handover of 100 units of electric
motorcycles as one of the supports for the pollution prevention campaign in line with the green living
mission of both.

TDI Director Henry Mulyadi highly welcomed the collaboration, in order to encourage the creation of
a balanced and sustainable ecosystem. "This collaboration is a concrete form of TDI's vision through
the United Bike and United E-Motor brands, which is to provide environmentally friendly, efficient
and affordable electric and pedal two-wheeled vehicles to the world. The public can easily get this
two-wheeled electric vehicle products through the Hypermart stores across Indonesia. So that more
Indonesians can be part of the support for air pollution mitigation by choosing to use electric
vehicles," he said.

This collaboration will not only focus on product distribution, but will also be supported by several
proactive activities in campaigning for a healthy lifestyle and pollution prevention. In order to support
the electronic vehicle ecosystem, Hypermart and United E-Motor will collaborate in providing
charging station facilities at several Hypermart stand alone stores with strategic location. This is
certainly in order to give privileges and convenience for Hypermart customer in charging batteries to
electric motorcycle during their visit.

Meanwhile, MPPA Deputy CEO Jerry Goei revealed that this collaboration is in line with the
Company's support for the healthy lifestyle of its stakeholders through various products and activities
carried out by the Company. "We welcomed the partnership with United, which has become top of
mind in the bicycle market and is now also expanding into the electric bicycle and electric motorcycle
market. Through this collaboration, Hypermart can provide support to the government's steps in
reducing carbon gas emissions due to the use of fossil fuel motorized vehicles by presenting these
