Uraian Informasi atau Fakta Material Jakarta, 17 Oktober 2023, PT Elnusa Tbk (ELNUSA,
IDX:ELSA) telah mempersiapkan diri dengan terus bergeliat
melakukan diversifikasi bisnis dan mengambil peran dalam
mendukung transisi energi yang tengah menjadi program dan
kebijakan pemerintah. Dalam mengantisipasi tantangan yang
akan dihadapi ke depan, Elnusa terus adaptif dan melakukan
pengembangan bisnis dengan memperluas lini bisnis pada
bidang Petrokimia.
Direktur Utama Elnusa, John Hisar Simamora mengatakan
'Ketika Dunia mulai bergerak ke masa transisi energi, semua
energi terbarukan yang ramah lingkungan mulai digunakan.
Untuk itu, Elnusa pun turut menjadi bagian dari penggerak
transisi energi tersebut dengan melakukan pengembangan
bisnis melalui Go Live penyaluran perdana produk Paraxylene
dengan skema Truck Loading pada akhir September 2023
lalu'.
Ia menambahkan, 'Diversifikasi bisnis ini merupakan
pengembangan bisnis anak usaha Elnusa yakni PT Elnusa
Petrofin (EPN) yang sebelumnya telah berhasil mengelola
proyek dengan skema bisnis Vendor Held Stock (VHS) dan
melakukan handling stock untuk penyaluran Paraxylene
melalui direct pipeline ke konsumen pada 2022 silam. Dan
pada bulan September 2023 ini EPN melakukan ekspansi
bisnis bersama dengan PT Pertamina Petrochemical Trading
(PPT) terkait skema penyaluran baru menggunakan Mobil
Tangki.'
Paraxylene merupakan bahan baku utama untuk memproduksi
PTA (Purified Terephtalic Acid) dan Polyethylene
Terephthalate (PET) yang dihasilkan dari kilang petrokimia.
PTA sendiri menjadi komponen penting dalam industri tekstil,
sementara PET kerap jadi bahan baku kemasan makanan dan
minuman. Produk Paraxylene dalam proyek ini akan disupply
dari Refinery Unit (RU) IV Cilacap dan TPPI Tuban.
Sebelumnya, PPT juga telah menyampaikan melalui
keterbukaan informasi di media online untuk terus memperluas
pengembangan jaringan pemasaran produk petrokimia
lainnya, hal ini sejalan dengan meningkatnya truput/ volume
jasa di EPN. Adapun Proyek ini juga menjadi sarana
kolaborasi yang kuat dengan para stakeholders, termasuk
PPT sebagai Product Owner.
'Elnusa memiliki tiga kompetensi inti pada jasa hulu, jasa
distribusi dan logistik energi serta jasa penunjang. Pada jasa
distribusi dan logistik energi inilah terus kami kembangkan dari
yang sebelumnya hanya berfokus pada pengelolaan BBM, kini
terus bergerak masuk ke dalam distribusi dan pengelolaan
Non-BBM Petrokimia. Sejak 2022 dan hingga saat ini, kami
telah menyalurkan secara total 283.620 MT Paraxylene dan
akan terus berpotensi mengalami peningkatan volume lagi ke
depan,' kata John.
John mengungkapkan, 'Ke depan Elnusa juga akan terus
meningkatkan kapasitasnya pada jasa distribus dan logistik
energi melalui pengelolaan produk Non-BBM lainnya seperti
pengelolaan granular sulfur juga bijih plastic serta
pengembangan bisnis pada sektor energi baru terbarukan dan
Electric Vehicle Ecosystem yang menjadi salah satu respon
cepat Elnusa untuk masa depan yang berkelanjutan yang
bukan hanya mengikuti perubahan namun juga memiliki

potensi peluang bisnis ke depan yang menjanjikan. Hal ini
tentunya akan menjadi langkah Elnusa dalam mendukung
ketahanan energi nasional dan merupakan salah satu bukti

Description of Material Information or Jakarta, 17 October 2023, PT Elnusa Tbk (ELNUSA,
Facts IDX:ELSA) has prepared itself by continuing to diversify its
business and take a role in supporting the energy transition
which is currently a government program and policy. In
anticipating the challenges that will be faced in the future,
Elnusa continues to be adaptive and carry out business
development by expanding its business lines in the
Petrochemical sector.
Elnusa President Director, John Hisar Simamora said 'When
the world began to move into an energy transition period, all
environmentally friendly renewable energy began to be used.
For this reason, Elnusa is also part of the energy transition
driver by carrying out business development through Go Live,
the first distribution of Paraxylene products using the Truck
Loading scheme at the end of September 2023.'
He added, 'This business diversification is the business
development of Elnusa's subsidiary, namely PT Elnusa
Petrofin (EPN), which previously succeeded in managing
projects using the Vendor Held Stock (VHS) business scheme
and handling stock for distribution of Paraxylene via direct
pipeline to consumers in 2022. 'And in September 2023, EPN
will expand its business together with PT Pertamina
Petrochemical Trading (PPT) regarding a new distribution
scheme using Tank Cars.'
Paraxylene is the main raw material for producing PTA
(Purified Terephtalic Acid) and Polyethylene Terephthalate
(PET) which is produced from petrochemical refineries. PTA
itself is an important component in the textile industry, while
PET is often a raw material for food and beverage packaging.
Paraxylene products in this project will be supplied from
Refinery Unit (RU) IV Cilacap and TPPI Tuban.
Previously, PPT had also conveyed through information
disclosure in online media that it would continue to expand the
development of marketing networks for other petrochemical
products, this was in line with the increase in output/service
volume at EPN. This project is also a means of strong
collaboration with stakeholders, including PPT as the Product
Owner.
'Elnusa has three core competencies in upstream services,
energy distribution and logistics services and supporting
services. We continue to develop energy distribution and
logistics services from previously only focusing on fuel
management, to now continuing to move into the distribution
and management of Non-BBM Petrochemicals. Since 2022
and until now, we have distributed a total of 283,620 MT of
Paraxylene and will continue to have the potential to
experience further volume increases in the future,' said John.
John said, 'In the future, Elnusa will also continue to increase
its capacity in energy distribution and logistics services through
managing other non-fuel products such as managing granular
sulfur and plastic ore as well as developing business in the
new, renewable energy sector and the Electric Vehicle
Ecosystem, which is one of the quick responses. Elnusa for a
sustainable future that not only follows change but also has
promising potential for future business opportunities. "This will
certainly be Elnusa's step in supporting national energy
security and is concrete evidence of realizing Elnusa's vision
