ENTITAS ESG PERINGKAT ‘3’
Sustainable Fitch telah memberikan PT Pan Brothers Tbk (“Perseroan”) Peringkat
Entitas ESG '3' dan skor entitas 50, yang mencerminkan profil ESG perusahaan yang
baik secara keseluruhan. Pemeringkatan Entitas ESG dilakukan dengan menganalisa
dampak bisnis secara keseluruhan terhadap lingkungan dan masyarakat, serta
efektivitas tata kelola Perseroan. Strategi dan komitmen ESG Perseroan mencakup 10
Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan PBB, khususnya tujuan Goals 7 (energi yang
terjangkau dan bersih), Goals 8 (pekerjaan yang layak dan pertumbuhan ekonomi) dan
Goals 12 (konsumsi dan produksi yang bertanggung jawab).
Sebagai salah satu perusahaan garmen terbesar di Indonesia dengan kapasitas dan kualitas global, Perseroan
berkomitmen untuk terus menjalankan dan mengembangkan keberlanjutan People, Planet, Profit (3P). Dari segi
lingkungan, inisiatif yang mengutamakan penggunaan energi terjangkau dan bersih serta konsumsi yang bertanggung
jawab menjadi catatan positif bagi pemeringkatan ESG Perseroan. Perseroan juga berkomitmen untuk menetapkan
target net zero yang akan diverifikasi oleh Science Based Targets Initiatives.
Perseroan juga memiliki kontribusi sosial yang positif melalui berbagai inisiatif sosial yang meliputi pemberdayaan
masyarakat lokal dan penyediaan akses pendidikan yang berkualitas. Seperti pada program penyediaan sarana kantin
dan tempat parkir, serta daur ulang kain bekas yang secara langsung memberikan kontribusi kepada lingkungan
setempat. Perseroan juga telah mempromosikan beasiswa pendidikan dan program subsidi pendidikan serta
berkolaborasi dengan instansi pendidikan dalam program pengembangan kompetensi bagi pemangku kepentingan
eksternal dan internal. Selain itu, Perseroan juga memiliki kredensial tata kelola perusahaan yang memuaskan dengan
memperhatikan manajemen risiko sebagai sorotan utama.
Sustainable Fitch memandang strategi ESG Perseroan akan terus berkembang di kemudian hari, dengan
memperhatikan komitmen manajemen yang kuat terhadap keberlanjutan yang disertai struktur organisasi yang lengkap
dalam pengelolaan dan pengawasan strategi ESG perusahaan.

Subject: SUSTAINABLE FITCH ASSIGNS PT PAN BROTHERS Tbk an ESG Entity
Rating of ‘3’
Sustainable Fitch has declared PT Pan Brothers Tbk (the "Company") an ESG Entity
Rating of '3' and an entity score of 50, reflecting the Company's overall good ESG profile.
The ESG Entity Rating is conducted by analyzing the overall business impact on the
environment and society, as well as the effectiveness of the Company's governance. The
Company's ESG strategy and commitments cover the 10 UN Sustainable Development
Goals, specifically goals 7 (affordable and clean energy), 8 (decent work and economic
growth) and 12 (responsible consumption and production).
As one of the largest garment companies in Indonesia with global capacity and quality, the Company is committed to
continue implementing and developing People, Planet, Profit (3P) sustainability. In terms of the environment, initiatives
that prioritize the use of affordable and clean energy and responsible consumption are positive notes for the Company's
ESG rating. The Company is also committed to setting a net zero target that will be verified by the Science Based
Targets Initiatives.
The Company also has positive social contributions through various social initiatives that include empowering local
communities and providing access to quality education. Such as in the program of providing canteen and parking
facilities, as well as recycling used fabrics that directly contribute to the local environment. The Company has also
promoted educational scholarships and education subsidy programs and collaborated with educational institutions in
competency development programs for external and internal stakeholders. In addition, the Company also has
satisfactory corporate governance credentials with risk management as a key highlight.
Sustainable Fitch expects the Company's ESG strategy to continue improving in the future by noting management's
strong commitment to sustainability and a complete organizational structure for managing and overseeing the company's
ESG strategy.
