PT Bumi Resources Tbk., (“BUMI” or “The Company”) was officially included in the FTSE Global
Equity Index in September 2023. The changes will be applied after the close of business on Friday, 15
September 2023 and will be effective on Monday, 18 September 2023. This is the 2nd inclusion of Bumi
in different FTSE Global Equity Indices.
The FTSE Global Equity Index is a series of stock market indices provided by the group belonging to
the London Stock Exchange. The FTSE Global Equity Index covers more than 16,000 stocks in 48
countries.
PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) and PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS) are included in the
FTSE Global Equity Index category (now shariah approved), along with 2 other companies.
President Director of PT Bumi Resources Tbk., Adika Nuraga Bakrie emphasized, “BUMI's entry into
the FTSE Global Equity index is expected to provide added value for the Company and its shareholders
as well as attracting more investors from global institutions.”
