Press Release
Supporting National Energy Resilience, Elnusa Records Positive Operational
Performance in Q1 2026
Jakarta, May 12, 2026 – PT Elnusa Tbk (Elnusa), a subsidiary of PT Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE) within Pertamina’s Upstream Subholding,
recorded solid operational performance throughout the first quarter of 2026. This achievement reflects the Company’s consistency in executing
its sustainable growth strategy by strengthening its core business lines, enhancing operational efficiency, and expanding its business portfolio.
Elnusa’s Director of Operations, Andri Haribowo, emphasized that this achievement represents the Company’s active contribution to supporting
national energy resilience. “As part of the national energy ecosystem, Elnusa remains committed to delivering reliable and integrated services,
from upstream to downstream, to ensure seamless distribution and the sustainability of energy supply in Indonesia,” said Andri.
Elnusa’s positive performance was primarily driven by the Energy Distribution & Logistics Goods and Services Sales segment, which
demonstrated significant growth. As of the end of March 2026, the throughput volume of fuel transportation services increased by 22% year-
on-year. This growth was supported by higher energy distribution activity, reflected in transportation volumes reaching 7 million kiloliters, fuel
depot management totaling 965 thousand kiloliters and LPG of 31 thousand tons, as well as inmar fuel and lubricant sales reaching 52
thousand kiloliters. Additionally, chemical distribution totaled 31.55 thousand drums, while fuel retail reached 3 thousand kiloliters.
In the integrated upstream oil and gas services segment, Elnusa posted stable operational performance with 3D seismic survey activities
covering 47.08 km² and 2D surveys spanning 4.16 km. In well services, well testing recorded the highest activity volume with 2,578 wells
handled, followed by wireline logging at 327 wells. Other activities included coiled tubing services for 139 wells, cementing for 70 wells,
hydraulic workover unit services for 56 wells, and thru-tubing services for 33 wells. In drilling operations, Elnusa also conducted modular rig
activities on 2 wells, reflecting project continuity and strong demand for upstream oil and gas services.
Beyond strengthening its core business lines, Elnusa continues to promote business diversification as part of its long-term growth strategy. The
Company expanded its international footprint through its subsidiary, Elnusa Fabrikasi Konstruksi, in OCTG trading activities involving projects
in Algeria (EFK – PIEP). This initiative forms part of Elnusa’s efforts to broaden its revenue streams and enhance competitiveness in the global
market.
In the supporting oil and gas services segment, Elnusa demonstrated consistent performance, achieving a 95% asset utilization rate and
managing 186 ongoing contracts. The Company also continues to enhance its capabilities through digital transformation and strategic
collaborations, including the development of artificial intelligence (AI)-based technologies. In marine support, operations were conducted
efficiently, with an exceptionally low non-productive time of 0.02%, supported by the average operation of 65 vessels and the execution of
18 non-asset-based projects.
In closing, Andri Haribowo reaffirmed that Elnusa will continue strengthening its operational competitiveness through innovation and synergy.
“Going forward, we will accelerate the enhancement of integrated service capabilities, improve efficiency, and expand business diversification
to capture new growth opportunities, including in international markets, while supporting national energy resilience,” Andri concluded.
