Matahari Celebrates Indonesian Independence with a Heartfelt
Dedication to Continue Being "The Most Indonesian"

Matahari (Company; stock code: LPPF), the leading Indonesian fashion, footwear,
beauty, and lifestyle retailer, takes immense pride in launching the "The Most Indonesian"
campaign to mark the country's Independence Day in August. This campaign echoes
Matahari's identity as the House of Specialists, promising quality products at budget-
friendly prices, an unparalleled shopping experience, and robust support to local
communities.

As Indonesia prepares to celebrate its independence, Matahari stores from Sabang to
Merauke will host an array of programs and activities designed to honor the country's rich
cultural tapestry. Demonstrating Matahari's commitment to its birthplace, some of the
initiatives include:

 Si Paling Lokal: Showcasing Matahari's deep roots in Indonesia, this initiative will
present an assortment of products from over 100 local brands. Independence Day
specials will feature attractive pricing of Rp 78,000 for batik collections, local
superhero merchandise, and red-and-white-themed clothing, expressing our
       shared love for Indonesia.
 Si Paling Hemat: Matahari reiterates its promise to provide unbeatable value with
the introduction of the Lowest Price Guarantee, ensuring customers get the best
deal for their favorite products. Additionally, during the Independence Day
promotional period, shoppers can look forward to enticing discounts, including a
reduction of Rp 78,000 and up to 17% off on cosmetic products.
 Si Paling Gaya: Understanding the distinct tastes of Indonesian families, Matahari
extends discounts of up to 50% on products for all family members, strengthening
its reputation as the fashion destination of choice.
 Si Paling Baru: Reflecting Matahari's commitment to staying ahead of the curve,
shoppers can enjoy a 30% discount on newly arrived items, keeping up with the
       latest fashion trends.

Reinforcing its commitment to promoting Indonesian culture, Matahari collaborates with
local artists and creators, notably its partnership with Bumilangit, an IP-based company
that manages the largest collection of comic hero characters in Asia. This collaboration
