Assets under management (AuM) increased by 3.5% q/q to Rp32.6 trillion, signaling an improvement in investment
sentiment, particularly in the debt theme. The movement of Rp1.1 trillion over the quarter comprised market
performance of Rp1.0 trillion and net inflows of Rp0.1 trillion. The debt theme delivered strong growth of 21% q/q, with a
net inflow of Rp1.4 trillion driven by peaking interest rate expectations, and performance was particularly strong in the
equities theme.

The equity market saw pressure in the fourth quarter as commodity prices fell and interest rate-sensitive stocks
underperformed the bond market. The peak interest rate narrative has been reflected initially in the Indonesian bond
market, with yields falling from 6.8% to 6.2% and strongly outperforming other Emerging Markets and the US Treasury
market. Despite the challenging market backdrop in recent periods, Ashmore's active management approach has
delivered strong relative performance with 64% and 98% of its AuM outperforming over one year and three years,
respectively.

Over the past 12 months, the impact of regulatory changes, forcing rotation into discretionary accounts, has resulted in
subdued industry AuM development. This is also reflected in Ashmore’s AuM declining by 2.5% y/y, with the average
AuM for the 12-month period 11.4% lower at Rp32.3 trillion. However, in the second half of the year to June 2023,
Ashmore outperformed the industry with +2.3% AuM growth compared with +1.6% for the industry.

Ronaldus Gandahusada, President Director, PT Ashmore Asset Management Indonesia Tbk, commented:

"The Indonesian asset management industry has faced significant challenges in the past 12 months, which have
resulted in a decline in assets under management, particularly in mutual funds. However, we are pleased to report that
Ashmore's agile business model and proven investment philosophy have delivered strong investment performance and
consequently resilient AuM. Our flagship equity funds, for instance, generated an average excess return of 8.3%
compared with the benchmark index, while bond funds generated an average excess return of 3.9% versus
benchmarks.

“In February 2023, Ashmore Indonesia celebrated 10 years since it launched its first fund. The firm has delivered strong
growth over this period and we believe we have the right strategy and business model to continue to grow and to create
value for our stakeholders. The backdrop is positive, with economists estimating that Indonesia will reach US$5,000
GDP per capita in 2023 and the asset management industry continues to have very exciting development potential."

Dana kelolaan (AuM) mengalami kenaikan sebesar 3.5% q/q, memberi sinyal terjadinya perbaikan sentiment Investasi

Ronaldus Gandahusada, President Director, PT Ashmore Asset Management Indonesia Tbk, berkomentar

bertahan. Reksadana ekuitas andalan kami, misalnya, menghasilkan kelebihan pengembalian rata-rata 8,3%
dibandingkan dengan indeks acuan, sementara reksadana obligasi menghasilkan pengembalian berlebih rata-rata 3,9%
dibandingkan indeks acuannya.
