PT Mitra Investindo Tbk, Sany South East Asia Ltd and Emas Fortuna Ltd Signed a Memorandum of Understanding to Explore Business Opportunities on New Renewable Energy Solar Energy. Jakarta, 7 Juli 2023 — PT Mitra Investindo Tbk (“Perseroan”), Sany South East Asia Ltd (“SANY”) dan Emas Fortuna Ltd (“EFL”) telah menandatangani Nota Kesepahaman (Memorandum Of Understanding/MoU) untuk bersama-sama menjajaki peluang bisnis Energi Baru Terbarukan Tenaga Surya yang ramah lingkungan. Melalui Nota Kesepahaman ini, MITI, SANY dan Emas Fortuna Ltd, akan menggali potensi Bisnis Energi Baru Terbarukan Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (“PLTS”) atau Solar Farm. MOU yang ditandatangani oleh dan antara (i) Perseroan, (ii) SANY, dan (iii) EFL merupakan kesepakatan awal antara para pihak yang berlaku satu tahun dan akan diperpanjang jika setujui Para Pihak. Rencana Kerjasama strategis antara Perseroan, SANY, dan EFL akan dituangkan dalam suatu perjanjian kemitraan terkait kerjasama dan pengadaan lahan sehubungan dengan pengembangan bisnis Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS) atau Solar Farm. Pelaksanaan Joint Venture (JV) tersebut akan memperhatikan ketentuan hukum dan perundangan yang berlaku bagi para pihak serta perjanjian definitif terkait yang akan ditandatangani kemudian. Proyek pengembangan Energi Hijau Listrik Tenaga Surya ini merupakan salah satu upaya Perseroan mendukung Agenda PBB 2030 untuk Sustainable Development Goals khususnya Goal #7 yaitu Energi Bersih dan Terjangkau (Affordable And Clean Energy) serta mendukung program Pemerintah untuk untuk mengurangi emisi karbon hingga 3244 atau setara 912 juta ton pada tahun 2030 dengan menggunakan bahan bakar non fosil. Jakarta, 7 July 2023 - PT Mitra Investindo Tbk (“Company”), Sany South East Asia Ltd (“SANY”) and Emas Fortuna Ltd (“EFL”) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (“MoU”) to Jointly explore business opportunities on New Renewable Energy that Environmentally friendly solar energy. Through this Memorandum of Understanding, MITI, SANY and Emas Fortuna Ltd, will explore the potential of the New Renewable Energy Solar Power Plant (“PLTS”) or Solar Farm Business. The MOU signed by and between (I) the Company, (ii) SANY, and (iii) EFL is an initial agreement between the parties which is valid for one year and will be extended if agreed by the Parties. The strategic cooperation plan between the Company, SANY and EFL will be set forth ina partnership agreement regarding cooperation and land acguisition in connection with the development of the Solar Power Plant (PLTS) or Solar Farm business. The implementation of the Joint Venture (JV) will take into account the provisions of the prevailing rules and regulation applied to the parties and related definitive agreements that will be signed later. The Solar Electric Green Energy development project is one of the Company 's efforts to support the 2030 UN Agenda for Sustainable Development Goals, especially Goal #7 of Clean and Affordable Energy and support the Government's program to reduce carbon emissions by up to 324 or the eguivalent of 912 million tonnes in 2030 using non-fossil fuels.
