Uraian Informasi atau Fakta Material Balikpapan, 31 Juli 2026 PT Surya Biru Murni Acetylene Tbk
(IDX SBMA) terus menunjukkan komitmennya dalam
membangun fondasi pertumbuhan jangka panjang melalui
pengembangan proyek keberlanjutan (sustainability). Hingga
akhir Juli 2026, progres pembangunan pabrik paving block
yang berlokasi di Jalan Mulawarman, Manggar, Balikpapan
telah mencapai 58%, meningkat dibandingkan capaian pada
Triwulan I 2026.
Pembangunan fasilitas ini merupakan bagian dari strategi
transformasi Perseroan untuk menciptakan nilai tambah
melalui pemanfaatan sisa hasil proses produksi (waste
valorization) menjadi produk yang memiliki nilai ekonomi.
Inisiatif tersebut mendukung penerapan prinsip ekonomi
sirkular (circular economy) sekaligus menjadi salah satu
langkah nyata Perseroan dalam meningkatkan efisiensi
penggunaan sumber daya dan mengurangi limbah industri.
Keandalan teknologi yang akan digunakan juga didukung oleh
hasil uji Toxicity Characteristic Leaching Procedure (TCLP)
yang dilakukan oleh Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), yang
menunjukkan bahwa material hasil olahan memenuhi
parameter yang dipersyaratkan sehingga memberikan dasar
ilmiah bagi pengembangan produk paving block yang aman
dan ramah lingkungan.
Direktur Utama PT Surya Biru Murni Acetylene Tbk, Rini
Dwiyanti, menyampaikan bahwa proyek ini merupakan bagian
dari transformasi bisnis Perseroan menuju model usaha yang
lebih berkelanjutan.
"Kami memandang keberlanjutan bukan hanya sebagai
tanggung jawab lingkungan, tetapi juga sebagai peluang untuk
menciptakan nilai ekonomi baru. Pembangunan pabrik paving
block merupakan salah satu implementasi strategi tersebut,
yaitu mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan sisa hasil produksi
menjadi produk bernilai tambah yang mendukung
pertumbuhan Perseroan dalam jangka panjang," ujar Rini
Dwiyanti.
Sepanjang Semester I 2026, Perseroan masih menghadapi
tantangan pada kondisi pasar dan operasional yang
memberikan tekanan terhadap kinerja keuangan. Namun
demikian, Perseroan tetap menjalankan agenda investasi
strategis yang telah direncanakan sebagai bagian dari upaya
memperkuat fundamental bisnis serta menciptakan sumber
pendapatan baru yang lebih berkelanjutan di masa
mendatang.
Pembangunan pabrik terus berjalan sesuai tahapan yang telah
ditetapkan dengan fokus pada penyelesaian bangunan utama,
instalasi mesin produksi, dan infrastruktur pendukung.
Perseroan optimistis proyek ini dapat memberikan kontribusi
positif terhadap diversifikasi usaha, peningkatan efisiensi
operasional, serta penguatan daya saing Perseroan dalam
jangka panjang.
Ke depan, SBMA akan terus mengintegrasikan aspek
Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) ke dalam
strategi bisnis, sejalan dengan implementasi standar
pelaporan keberlanjutan IFRS S1 dan IFRS S2 serta
komitmen Perseroan untuk menciptakan nilai jangka panjang
bagi pemegang saham dan seluruh pemangku kepentingan.

Facts
PT Surya Biru Murni Acetylene Tbk IDX SBMA continues to
demonstrate its commitment to building a foundation for
longterm growth through the development of sustainability
projects. As of the end of July 2026, the construction progress
of the paving block plant located on Jalan Mulawarman,
Manggar, Balikpapan has reached 58 percent, an increase
compared to the achievement recorded in the first quarter of
2026.
The development of this facility is part of the Companys
transformation strategy to create added value through the
utilization of production process by products waste valorization
into economically valuable products. This initiative supports the
implementation of circular economy principles while serving as
a tangible step by the Company to improve resource utilization
efficiency and reduce industrial waste.
The reliability of the technology to be implemented is also
supported by the results of the Toxicity Characteristic Leaching
Procedure TCLP test conducted by Institut Teknologi Bandung
(ITB), which confirmed that the processed materials comply
with the required parameters, providing a scientific foundation
for the development of safe and environmentally friendly
paving block products.
President Director of PT Surya Biru Murni Acetylene Tbk, Rini
Dwiyanti, stated that this project is part of the Companys
business transformation toward a more sustainable business
model.
We view sustainability not only as an environmental
responsibility, but also as an opportunity to create new
economic value. The development of the paving block plant
represents one of the implementations of this strategy, namely
optimizing the utilization of production by products into value
added products that support the Companys long term growth,
said Rini Dwiyanti.
Throughout the first half of 2026, the Company continued to
face challenges arising from market conditions and operational
factors, which put pressure on financial performance.
Nevertheless, the Company remains committed to executing
its planned strategic investment agenda as part of its efforts to
strengthen business fundamentals and create new, more
sustainable sources of revenue in the future.
Construction of the plant continues according to the
established timeline, with a focus on completing the main
building, production machinery installation, and supporting
infrastructure. The Company is optimistic that this project will
contribute positively to business diversification, improved
operational efficiency, and the strengthening of the Companys
long term competitiveness.
Going forward, SBMA will continue to integrate Environmental,
Social, and Governance ESG aspects into its business
strategy, in line with the implementation of IFRS S1 and IFRS
S2 sustainability reporting standards, as well as the Companys
commitment to creating long term value for shareholders and
all stakeholders.
