ANTAM Receives Indonesian Circular Economy Awards 2025 Jakarta , November 2 8, 2025 – PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM) or ANTAM remains recorded an important achievement in the implementation of the circular economy. At the Indonesian Circular Economy Awards (ICEA) 2025, the Company received the Gold Category award for the Other Materials/Stakeholder Engagement program at the macro system level. In addition, ANTAM’s President Director Achmad Ardianto was named the TOP Actor in Circular Economy for the CEO/BOD level Leader category. This award also affirms A NTAM's position as one of the most progressive companies in promoting sustainability practices and the circular economy in Indonesia. Award Based on the International Standard ISO 59000 ICEA 2025 is the first circular economy award event in Indonesia that fully refers to the ISO 59000 series, an international standard released in May 2024. The standard includes vocabulary, basic principles, business models, and circularity performance measurement indicators. The event, held in Bali on November 18, 2025, gave appreciation to 20 companies with a total of 44 Circular Economy programs, as well as 4 figures who are considered to contribute to the transformation towards a circular economy. The award was presented in the presence of a number of national and international figures, including Acting Head of BSN Y. Kristianto Widiwardono and ISO/TC323 experts from Sweden and Singapore. In the Gold category achieved this year, ANTAM is considered to have shown strong commitment through: efficient management of non -product materials; implementation of reduce –reuse–recycle principles in strategic collaboration operations with stakeholders, and efforts to encourage circularity at the macro level in the mining and minerals sector. The initiative proves that ANTAM is not only implementing a circular economy at the operational level, but also driving systemic change with the industry ecosystem and community. ANTAM's Corporate Secretary, Wisnu Danandi Haryanto, said that this award is strong proof that the
implementation of the circular economy in the Company is running on the right track.
"This award is proof that ANTAM's efforts in integrating circular economy principles have been
recognized nationally. We are committed to improving material efficiency, expanding the use of
side materials, and strengthening collaboration with stakeholders, ” said Wisnu.
He added that the appreciation of ANTAM's President Director was an additional motivation for the
company.
"The recognition of Mr. Achmad Ardianto as a TOP Actor in Circular Economy is a strong
encouragement for all ANTAM employees to continue to innovate and expand the positive impact
of circular practices in the mining sector,” he continued.
Over the past few years, ANTAM has consistently developed various circular economy initiatives,
especially in the areas of mining waste reduction, utilization of ancillary materials for downstream
industries, energy efficiency and water use, and community involvement in reuse –recycle practices.
The achievements in ICEA 2025 further strengthen ANTAM's position as a company that focuses not
only on downstream, but also on transforming towards more sustainable operations.
