MedcoEnergi Joins OGMP 2.0, Reinforcing Commitment to Net-Zero Strategy

Jakarta, 6 November 2025 – PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk (“MedcoEnergi”) announced that its Oil & Gas
subsidiary PT Medco E & P Indonesia has joined the Oil & Gas Methane Partnership (OGMP) 2.0, the United
Nations Environment Programme’s (UNEP) flagship initiative to improve the measurement and reporting of
methane emissions in the oil and gas sector.

This step is part of MedcoEnergi’s sustainability and climate change strategy, demonstrating its commitment to
achieving Net-Zero Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 2050, and Scope 3 by 2060. By joining OGMP
2.0, Medco E&P Indonesia is part of a global community of more than 150 Oil & Gas companies across 90 countries,
setting the highest standards of transparency and accountability in methane reporting.

Roberto Lorato, CEO of MedcoEnergi, said, “Joining OGMP 2.0 is another milestone in delivering MedcoEnergi’s
Net-Zero aspiration. Transparent and credible methane reporting is fundamental to our decarbonization pathway,
and it reinforces our role as a responsible energy company with global standards.”

The company has already surpassed its interim 2025 target as emissions have decreased by more than 1.5 million
tons of CO₂e compared to its 2019 baseline, while continuing to expand renewable energy through geothermal and
solar PV developments. By aligning with OGMP 2.0, MedcoEnergi also strengthens Indonesia’s energy transition
agenda as a Global Methane Pledge participant, helping the country to meet its climate commitments while
continuing to provide reliable energy for growth.
