AMMAN Secures Export Recommendation for Copper Concentrate
until April 2026
Jakarta, 1 November 2025 — PT Amman Mineral Nusa Tenggara (AMNT), a subsidiary of PT
Amman Mineral Internasional Tbk (AMMAN, IDX: AMMN), has received a concentrate export
recommendation, with an export quota of 480,000 dry metric tonnes (“dmt”), which is valid
for six months, effective from 31 October 2025, from Indonesia’s Ministry of Energy and
Mineral Resources (ESDM). This recommendation serves as a prerequisite for the Ministry
of Trade to issue the Export Approval Letter (SPE) for AMNT’s copper concentrate exports.
AMNT President Director Rachmat Makkasau expressed his appreciation for the support of
various institutions, particularly ESDM, in understanding the technical challenges at
AMMAN’s smelter facility. “Our smelter experienced temporary shutdowns in July and
August 2025 due to repairs on the Flash Converting Furnace and Sulfuric Acid Plant. The
damage occurred entirely beyond our control, was unintentional, and unavoidable. The
shutdowns were necessary to prevent severe damage and ensure safety. Repairs to these
critical components are highly complex and must be carried out comprehensively. Given the
scale and intricacy of the work, the process is expected to continue through H1 2026. While
repairing the facilities, we continue to attempt partial operations, cautiously ramping up
production without jeopardizing safety,” said Rachmat.
With the resumption of copper concentrate exports, which had been suspended since early
2025, AMMAN will be able to prevent concentrate storage facilities from exceeding their
capacity, allowing mining operations to continue as planned during the smelter repair
period. This step will also enable AMMAN to maintain its fiscal contribution to both the
national and regional economies in line with sales performance.
As stated in the company’s 9M 2025 performance report, AMMAN targets 2025 copper
concentrate production of 430,000 (dmt), containing approximately 228 million pounds of
copper and 90,000 ounces of gold. The production plan factors in output from both
stockpiles and low-grade fresh ore from the outer ring of Phase 8, as current mining
activities remain focused on waste stripping in that phase.

In addition to the 2025 production target, AMMAN recorded 190,000 dmt of concentrate
inventory at the end of 2024. As of 30 September 2025, total copper concentrate
production reached 310,143 dmt with 273,506 dmt already processed through the smelter.
Total concentrate inventory as of 30 September 2025 at AMMAN’s storage facilities stood at
226,637 dmt. A portion of this inventory produced by year-end will be exported, while the
remainder will be processed through the smelter as repair progress. These developments
mark steady progress toward the full recovery of smelter operations and reaffirm AMMAN’s
commitment to delivering long-term growth and value creation.
