CDI Group’s Solar Power Portfolio Reaches 11 MWp by
November 2025, Strengthening National Clean Energy
Supply
Jakarta, October 7 2025 – PT Chandra Daya Investasi Tbk (CDI Group), through
its subsidiary in the energy business pillar, PT Krakatau Chandra Energi (KCE),
continues to expand its solar power plant portfolio with an additional capacity of 4.7
MWp, bringing the company’s total installed solar capacity to 11 MWp. The 4.7
MWp Ground-Mounted solar power plant, located in Cilegon, Banten, is targeted for
completion and operation in November 2025.
The 4.7 MWp solar power plant utilizes KCE’s existing transmission and distribution
network, optimizing previously unused land areas to create added value from available
assets.
With a total capacity of 11 MWp, CDI Group’s green energy portfolio is projected to
reduce carbon emissions by up to 9,855 tons of CO₂eq annually, equivalent to the
carbon sequestration of over 469,000 trees each year. Backed by extensive
experience in the power sector and the application of internationally certified solar
panel technology, CDI Group through KCE ensures that every project is designed with
the highest standards of efficiency and sustainability.
