Perseroan dengan ini memberikan penjelasan terkait pertanyaan dalam Surat BEI sebagai berikut: 1. Klarifikasi atas kebenaran berita tersebut a. Clarification on the media reports regarding alleged mass layoffs of hundreds of employees Regarding to the information on media reports of mass layoffs of hundreds of employees, we hereby convey that there were no mass layoffs, but rather a normative process of releasing 309 employees by way of normal retirement and voluntary early retirement mechanisms, as well as the termination of employment contracts upon the expiry of their terms. Perseroan akan terus berusaha berinovasi dengan produk-produk yang lebih sesuai dengan kondisi pasar yang ada. Upaya dan kebijakan yang dilakukan Perseroan dalam melakukan pemberian hak kepada karyawan yang akan di PHK Perseroan selalu memberikan hak karyawan sesuai ketentuan peraturan perundang-undangan yang berlaku, termasuk apabila Perseroan merasa perlu melakukan adaptasi skala operasional. Agar disampaikan penyesuaian sebagian dari komitmen jangka panjang yang akan dilakukan oleh Perseroan Perseroan akan terus langkah-langkah adaptif terhadap kondisi pasar yang saat ini sangat dipengaruhi oleh perkembangan ketentuan cukai dan penanganan terhadap rokok yang tidak memenuhi ketentuan cukai. Efforts and policies implemented by the Company in providing rights to employees who will be laid off The Company always provides employee rights in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations, including when there is a necessity for the Company to adapt its operational scale. To convey partial adjustments to the Company's long-term commitments. The Company will continue to take adaptive measures upon market conditions, which are significantly influenced by excise duty developments and the controlling of cigarettes that do not meet excise reguirements.
