Developing an Iconic Theme Park in Bali,
MNC Tourism Acquires 55% Stake
in PT Kios Ria Kreasi
Jakarta, August 6, 2025 – On Tuesday, August 5, 2025, PT MNC Tourism Indonesia Tbk (the Company or IDX: KPIG),
formerly known as PT MNC Land Tbk, officially entered into a strategic agreement to acquire a 55% controlling stake in
PT Kios Ria Kreasi (KIOS).
KIOS holds the development rights over 92.08 ha of land within KBS Park or Taman Kerthi Bali Semesta, located in
Pekutatan District, Jembrana Regency, West Bali. On this strategic site, MNC Tourism will develop an international-scale
theme park, water park, and resort, envisioned to become one of the largest tourism destinations in Southeast Asia.
The project will be executed in collaboration with one of the world’s leading theme park operators, renowned for its
globally recognized Intellectual Properties (IPs) that appeal to all age groups. Set amidst lush tropical surroundings, the
destination will feature an extraordinary array of attractions and deliver unforgettable experiences for visitors of all
generations.
No less important, accessibility to the area will be substantially enhanced by the development of a new toll road,
originally initiated by PT Tol Jagat Kerthi Bali. This future infrastructure will be Bali’s second toll road after Bali Mandara,
and Indonesia’s first to be equipped with dedicated lanes for bicycles and motorcycles, spanning dozens of kilometers.
Land acquisition is currently progressing under government coordination. This strategic infrastructure is expected to
serve as a major catalyst for accelerating tourism growth in West Bali.
