Jakarta, July 29, 2025 – In a strategic move underscoring its
commitment to sustainability and market leadership, PT Wijaya Karya
Bangunan Gedung Tbk (WEGE) has secured an international
Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) for its flagship WG Flatpack
Modular (Standard) product. This landmark achievement, registered
under the International EPD® System (EPD-IES-0023922) and valid
until June 4, 2030, establishes the product as the first of its kind from
Indonesia to receive this globally recognized environmental
certification.

An EPD is an environmental declaration based on ISO 14025 and EN
15804 standards that provides objective, third-party verified data on a
product's environmental impact throughout its life cycle (cradle-to-
grave). The EPD for the WG Flatpack Modular was prepared by PT Life
Cycle Indonesia and verified by the independent international body,
Marcel Gómez Consultoria Ambiental.

The WG Flatpack Modular is a prefabricated building system designed
for ease of transportation, speed of installation, and energy efficiency.
With an area of 13.52 m² and a service life of up to 50 years, the product
meets various technical standards, including the Indonesian National
Standard (SNI) for earthquake-resistant structures. Its primary
materials include SS400 steel, GRC panels, and mineral wool
insulation, with an electrical capacity of up to 4,400 VA per module.
Notably, the product incorporates up to 50% recycled material and
demonstrates a low carbon footprint with daily emissions of 0.296 kg
CO₂ eq.

The President Director of WEGE, Hadian Pramudita, stated that this
achievement is tangible proof of WEGE's transformation towards
sustainable construction solutions. "This EPD certification is not only
an acknowledgment of our product's technical quality but also a
representation of WEGE's commitment to supporting the national
construction industry's decarbonization agenda. We aim to be a
pioneer in creating buildings that are not only strong and efficient but
also environmentally responsible," he affirmed.

This certification significantly enhances market access for WEGE's
modular products, particularly for international-standard projects
requiring carbon efficiency and green building certifications such as
LEED, BREEAM, or EDGE. This milestone directly supports WEGE's
contribution to Indonesia's Net Zero Emissions 2060 target and
reinforces the company's ESG credentials, a key consideration for the
investment community.
