Press Release
Chandra Asri Group Promotes Efficiency and Job Creation
Through Shared Service Center (SSC)
Jakarta, July 15, 2025 – PT Chandra Asri Pacific Tbk (Chandra Asri Group) through
its subsidiary PT Chandra Asri Konsultasi (CAK) is providing Shared Services
Center (SSC) to enhance operational efficiency and support the sustainable growth
of its subsidiaries. As a part of this service expansion, CAK plans to recruit over 200
new staff in line with the Company’s continued growth. This demand for new talent
not only reflects the Company’s progressive business needs but also represents a
meaningful contribution to job creation and the development of Indonesia’s talent
capacity.
CAK, which has been operating since 2024, provides centralized back-office services
encompassing finance, human resources, procurement, customer operations,
and information technology (IT). Currently CAK manages administrative operations
for the Company’s asset in Singapore, Aster Chemical & Energy Pte. Ltd. (Aster),
a subsidiary of CAPGC Pte. Ltd.—a joint venture between Chandra Asri Capital Pte.
Ltd. and Glencore Asian Holdings Pte. Ltd. Going forward, CAK aims to become the
dedicated back-office service provider for all entities within the Chandra Asri Group.
This operating model enables the efficient management of Aster’s Singapore-based
operations from Indonesia. In addition to enhancing productivity and operational
excellence, this approach also expands the role of Indonesian talent in supporting the
Company’s regional performance, while reinforcing its contribution to national
economic development.
Andre Khor, Chief Financial Officer of Chandra Asri Group, stated “Human capital
development is a fundamental pillar of long-term growth. The establishment of CAK
reflects our commitment to delivering efficient business services while also creating
employment opportunities for local talent. This strategic initiative reinforces Chandra
Asri Group’s role as a Growth Partner—not only focused on business expansion, but
also on strengthening the capabilities of the local workforce as a key driver of national
economic development.”
Going forward, CAK plans to expand the scope of its services to external partners
beyond the Group. To support this growth, CAK will also implement regular training
programs and competency reviews to ensure that everyone possesses the skills
required to meet the evolving needs of a dynamic industry.
