   From Tanah Laut, South Kalimantan, Elnusa Successfully Implements
       Modern Seismic Survey Technology in Coal Concession Area
Jakarta, 14 July 2025 – PT Elnusa Tbk (ELNUSA), a subsidiary of PT Pertamina Hulu Energi under Pertamina's Upstream Subholding, has once again made a
significant stride in business development through the successful completion of Indonesia’s first 3D and multi-2D seismic survey project in the coal mining
sector. This project was conducted in the concession area of PT Wahana Baratama Mining (WBM), a subsidiary of Bayan Group, located in Tanah Laut
Regency, South Kalimantan. The data acquisition and processing activities spanned six months, from November 2024 to April 2025.

The survey covered an area of 25.85 km² for the 3D segment and 13.14 km of lines for the multi-2D segment. This project serves as tangible proof of Elnusa’s
strategic expansion beyond the oil and gas sector, with a focus on mapping coal distribution and identifying fault zones to support safer and more efficient
underground mining planning. It also reinforces Elnusa’s contribution to sustainable national energy development.

In its implementation, Elnusa relied on high-precision acquisition design technology to deliver high-quality, accurate data. Vibroseis systems such as IVI
EnviroVib 15 and Hemi 44 were employed as vibration sources, combined with Smart SOLO IGU-16 1C nodal sensors with a frequency of 5 Hz. “The
technologies we use, including Vibroseis and Smart SOLO, enable us to deliver exploration data that is accurate, efficient, and tailored to client needs,” said
Endro Hartanto, Director of Operations at Elnusa.

The acquisition design was developed with a high-density approach by Elnusa’s technical team to ensure optimal vertical and horizontal resolution. This
method offers a more comprehensive subsurface image compared to conventional techniques such as borehole coring.

Endro added, “This achievement not only opens new opportunities in the coal mining sector but also affirms Elnusa’s position as a pioneer in non-oil and
gas seismic survey technology in Indonesia. With integrated geophysical capabilities from upstream to downstream, Elnusa is well-positioned to be a
strategic partner in supporting national energy sector sustainability.”

Lucasz Jerzy Szendra, Research & Development Manager at PT Wahana Baratama Mining (WBM), expressed his appreciation for Elnusa’s team synergy and

teams all of whom worked in compliance with high quality standards. The superior data and comprehensive services received recognition and praise from
