      Strengthening ESG and SDGs Practices, Graha Elnusa Compost
         House Transforms Organic Waste into Compost Fertilizer
Jakarta, 4 July 2025 – PT Elnusa Tbk (ELNUSA, IDX: ELSA), a subsidiary of PT Pertamina Hulu Energi under Pertamina’s Upstream
Subholding, continues its sustainable environmental management initiative through a program that converts organic waste into
compost fertilizer at the Graha Elnusa Compost House in South Jakarta. This facility is designed to support the principles of Reduce,
Reuse, Recycle (3R), while reinforcing the implementation of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) pillars and the
achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production).

The program utilizes three primary sources of organic waste: leaves from landscaping and tree-trimming activities, food waste from
the Graha Elnusa canteen, and organic waste generated from building operations. All materials are collected, sorted, and processed
in a large-capacity compost reactor.

The decomposition process takes approximately three to four weeks and produces ready-to-use compost, which is then applied as
fertilizer for the green areas around Graha Elnusa.

This organic waste management innovation is not merely a waste reduction effort but also forms part of Elnusa's long-term strategy
in establishing environmentally responsible initiatives that actively engage employees in daily eco-conscious practices.

Jayanty Oktavia Maulina, Elnusa’s Corporate Communication Manager, stated, “The Graha Elnusa Compost House offers ecological
benefits such as reducing methane emissions from waste accumulation. It also serves as an internal educational platform for
employees and the surrounding community to better understand the importance of waste separation,” said Jayanty.

Through the Compost House initiative, Elnusa strives to deliver effective solutions to waste management challenges while
demonstrating the company’s strong commitment to implementing sustainable practices within the workplace. This program
reflects how small yet consistent actions can lead to significant ecological impact.
