Press Release
Elnusa’s Tangible Contribution to Economic Empowerment and
Environmental Sustainability Earns Two Awards at the 2025 TJSL & CSR Award
Jakarta, 30 June 2025 – PT Elnusa Tbk (Elnusa), a subsidiary of PT Pertamina Hulu Energi under Pertamina’s Upstream Subholding, proudly recorded
another achievement at the 2025 TJSL & CSR Award hosted by BUMN Track. Elnusa received two prestigious accolades: the Platinum Award in the
Economic category and the Gold Award in the Environmental category, in recognition of the company’s successful implementation of impactful
and sustainable Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) programs.
The Platinum Award for the Economic category was granted for the success of Elnusa’s flagship program, Desa Energi Berdikari (Independent Energy
Village), implemented in Sumengko Village, Bojonegoro. The program focused on the development of a local herbal beverage product called Cenayu
in collaboration with women from the Family Welfare Movement (PKK). It has created added value from local potential while expanding economic
access for the village community.
Meanwhile, the Gold Award in the Environmental category was awarded for Elnusa’s green initiatives, including the deployment of a Reverse
Vending Machine (RVM), which encourages active participation from the community and Elnusa employees in waste separation and carbon
footprint reduction.
Beyond waste management, this initiative serves as an environmental education platform that enhances sustainability literacy (SDG 4: Quality
Education), promotes inclusive participation across all societal groups including women (SDG 5: Gender Equality) and marginalized communities
(SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities).
With a participatory and technology-based approach, the initiative not only contributes to carbon emission reduction and climate change mitigation
(SDG 13: Climate Action), but also creates decent job opportunities in the recycling and green economy sectors (SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic
Growth). Overall, the program exemplifies Elnusa’s firm commitment to applying Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles integrated
with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) across all aspects of its business.
Frida Lidwina, Elnusa’s Corporate Secretary, stated, “This recognition reflects Elnusa’s commitment as a change agent in promoting economic
empowerment, environmental conservation, and sustainable social governance,” she affirmed.
The evaluation process was conducted independently by a panel of CSR experts, academics, and professional assessment institutions, covering
administrative screening, self-assessment document review, and direct presentations before the TJSL & CSR Award Committee. This
accomplishment underscores the company’s dedication to building TJSL practices that are integrated into its business model and delivering
measurable and meaningful impact both quantitatively and qualitatively.
Elnusa will continue to strengthen its TJSL programs as part of its long-term sustainability strategy. With a spirit of collaboration and innovation,
Elnusa is committed to being a strategic partner to the government and society in realizing inclusive, empowered, and environmentally conscious
development.
