                        Bank Woori Saudara’s Explanation on Financial Incident

Jakarta, June 5, 2025 – To follow up on the publication concerning Financial Incident that officially
announced on the website of Woori Bank Korea (WBK), Parent Company of Bank Woori Saudara,
hereby we conveyed that the issue is currently in the process of internal investigation. The
publication was carried out by WBK as a form of public disclosure and transparency concerning
certain incidents that occurred in accordance with prevailing regulation.

We need to emphasize that the figure published by WBK amounting USD 78.5 million is the value
of the total exposure, or the total amount of transactions between Bank Woori Saudara and the
customer concerned, related to this problem and not the exact value of the loss. The exact value
of loss is still under review and cannot be ascertained until the entire internal investigation
process is completed.

Currently Bank Woori Saudara is conducting a thorough examination of the incident in
accordance with prevailing regulation.

WBK as the parent company also provides full support and assistance to Bank Woori Saudara in
dealing with this problem. Bank Woori Saudara is committed to always uphold the Good
