          JAST Supports the 2025 APEKSI National Forum with Endorsement of
                               Emergency Call Service 112 Surabaya


Surabaya, May 7, 2025 – PT Jasnita Telekomindo Tbk. (JAST) actively participated in the 2025
APEKSI National Forum organized by the Association of Indonesian City Governments (APEKSI) on
May 7-8, 2025, at the Grand City Convex, Surabaya. In this strategic forum, attended by 98 Mayors
and Heads of the Communication and Information Department from across Indonesia, JAST
demonstrated its commitment to the development of smart cities in Indonesia through the support
of information and communication technology.
As part of its contribution, JAST endorsed the Surabaya 112 Emergency Call Service, an integrated
emergency response service that has become a key resource for the public during emergency
situations. This endorsement further reinforces JAST’s role in supporting the digitalization of public
services that are fast, responsive, and integrated.
Additionally, JAST showcased a demo of the Jastrak service integration, a location-based tracking
technology system, with the use case of “Searching for Missing Persons” in Surabaya. This
innovation is part of efforts to present practical solutions in the implementation of Smart City, where
technology is used to support the safety and security of residents in real-time and in a coordinated
manner.
The event was opened by the Chairman of APEKSI’s Board of Directors, who also serves as the
Mayor of Surabaya, and featured the Minister of Communications and Digital Affairs (Komdigi RI)
as the keynote speaker. The forum also included a panel discussion with speakers from the Ministry
of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) and the Ministry of Home Affairs, as well as presentations from
eight leading smart city solution providers. Various sessions at the forum discussed best practices
for alternative financing to accelerate the adoption of digital technologies in city governments across
Indonesia. Through our support for the Surabaya 112 emergency call service and the Jastrak demo,
we aim to demonstrate how technology can be directly implemented to enhance public safety and
build smarter, safer cities.
JAST’s participation in the APEKSI National Forum strengthens the company’s role in driving
innovation and digital solutions focused on public service delivery and the development of the Smart
City ecosystem in Indonesia.
