Wise Financial Management During Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr
                                 with Creditbility from Jenius

Jakarta, February 13, 2025 – As Ramadan approaches, spending usually increases, for daily needs
and preparations for Eid al-Fitr. Therefore, it is important to understand how to manage finances
wisely to maintain financial stability post-Eid, avoid the risk of accumulating debt, and ensure
economic well-being is preserved.

During the financial education class titled “Manage Your Finances More Wisely During Ramadan
and Post-Eid with Jenius,” organized by Jenius, Ully Safitri, Certified Financial Planner, CHRP,
Consultant from OneShildt Financial Independence, stated, "As Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr
approach, Indonesians often face seasonal inflation, from rising prices of essential goods to
tickets and other Ramadan-related needs. However, Ramadan also opens up business
opportunities, such as in baked goods, hampers, and iftar meals. In this situation, using credit
facilities wisely can help maintain financial stability."

Ully further explained that while expenses tend to rise during Ramadan, the income also
increases due to the holiday bonuses and/or other bonuses, as well as opportunities to boost
earnings through seasonal business opportunities. Therefore, having insight into how to manage
cash flow, prioritize spending, manage credit responsibly, and turn it into an economic
opportunity can transform post-Ramadan financial stress into happiness through wise financial
management.

Jenius, the digital banking platform from SMBC Indonesia, understands that credit is one of the
key tools for accelerating life and achieving goals. Therefore, Jenius continues to innovate by
providing financial solutions that assist in and simplify the lives of Jenius users.

After launching various credit products such as Jenius Paylater, Flexi Cash, and Jenius Credit
Cards, Jenius now introduces its latest innovation, Creditbility. With Creditbility, Jenius users can
apply for all three credit products—Jenius Paylater, Flexi Cash, and Jenius Credit Card—in one
application. Additionally, users can assess their creditworthiness and manage their credit limits
more securely and flexibly. This enables users to plan their expenses more effectively during
Ramadan and post-Eid in alignment with their financial conditions.

“Through Creditbility, Jenius makes it easier for users to apply for all three Jenius credit
products—Jenius Paylater, Flexi Cash, and Jenius Credit Card—in one application. Furthermore,
users can manage their credit products more conveniently and securely within a single app, with
the flexibility to allocate credit limits based on their needs,” said Febri Rusli, Digital Banking
Product & Innovation Head at SMBC Indonesia.

Flexible Credit Allocation

Creditbility not only simplifies the management and application of loan products in Jenius within
one app, but also helps users understand their creditworthiness. Creditbility will also store
unused credit limits, allowing users to manage their credit in Jenius wisely. With this feature,
Jenius provides flexibility while helping users build a better financial reputation.

Each user will receive credit products and total creditworthiness that match their financial profile
and credit history, allowing them to manage credit according to their capacity.

Optimal Credit Security

Creditbility will automatically and periodically store users' unused credit limits, preventing
uncontrolled usage. The stored credit limit in Creditbility can be reallocated whenever needed.

Accelerating Dreams through Credit Management

Creditbility can also serve as a benchmark for creditworthiness, allowing users to know and
improve their credit score. By using Creditbility, users can view their creditworthiness in real time
while assisting in credit planning. As a result, users can use it as a tool to accelerate their dreams,
whether in investment, education, or other financial goals.

“The features and innovations introduced by Jenius are a concrete step in supporting SMBC
Indonesia's vision to provide more relevant services and reaching more customer segments to
grow together. Jenius hopes to assist users in formulating and achieving their financial
resolutions in 2025, helping them build a better financial reputation,” concluded Febri.
