Jenius Introduces Creditbility: Build a Better Financial Reputation Digital-Savvy Community

Jakarta, January 24, 2025 – The start of a new year is the perfect moment to set financial resolutions for a
better future. Just as we rearrange resolutions in various aspects of life, financial health also needs special
attention.

Designing financial resolutions is not only about saving more but also about building a good financial
reputation as it opens more opportunities for access to credit and investment and reflects wise financial
management, enabling long-term dreams or goals and tackling unexpected challenges.

At the financial education class titled “Financial Resolutions: Build a Better Financial Reputation,” by
Jenius, a digital banking pioneer from SMBC Indonesia, Ully Safitri, a Certified Financial Planner, CHRP,
and Consultant from OneShildt Financial Independence, emphasized "Everyone has different financial
goals, from education, home renovation, a plan to start a business, or preparation for emergencies. One
tool that can help accelerate achieving these goals is personal loans, and one important thing to note is
that people should borrow only an amount they need and pay on time to build a good financial
reputation."

Furthermore, Ully explained that financial reputation reflects on the trust financial institutions have in one
individual’s ability to manage debts and financial obligations. A good reputation provides an access to
loans with more favorable terms, such as lower interest rates and better financial opportunities. To build
this reputation, it is important to always pay loans and bills on time, utilize credit wisely, and borrow as
needed. Every individual must also be cautious in choosing personal loans, ensuring the platforms they use
are licensed and registered with the Financial Services Authority (OJK), and they should understand the
benefits and risks of a loan product to help them find one that fits their needs.

Jenius, as a partner in the financial journey of digital-savvy communities, views that credit is an essential
tool for accelerating life and reaching goals. Therefore, Jenius continues to innovate by providing financial
solutions that assist in and simplify the lives of Jenius users.

After launching various credit products such as Jenius Paylater, Flexi Cash, and the Jenius Credit Card,
Jenius now introduces its latest innovation, Creditbility. This innovation helps users not only understand
their creditworthiness but also serves as a practical tool for applying for and managing all three credit
products from Jenius more easily and in an integrated way.

Through Creditbility, Jenius makes it easier for users to apply for the three credit products in Jenius—
Jenius Paylater, Flexi Cash, and the Jenius Credit Card—all at once. Moreover, users can manage their
credit products more practically and securely within a single app, with the flexibility to allocate credit limits
based on their needs," said Febri Rusli, Digital Banking Product & Innovation Head at SMBC Indonesia.

Flexible Credit Allocation

Creditbility not only simplifies the management and application of loan products in Jenius within one app,
but also helps users understand their creditworthiness. Creditbility will also store unused credit limits,
allowing users to manage their credit in Jenius wisely. With this feature, Jenius provides flexibility while
helping users build a better financial reputation.

Each user will receive credit products and total creditworthiness that match their financial profile and
credit history, allowing them to manage credit according to their capacity.

Optimal Credit Security

Creditbility will automatically and periodically store users' unused credit limits, preventing uncontrolled
usage. The stored credit limit in Creditbility can be reallocated whenever needed.

Accelerating Dreams through Credit Management

Creditbility can also serve as a benchmark for creditworthiness, allowing users to know and improve their
credit score. By using Creditbility, users can view their creditworthiness in real time while assisting in credit
planning. As a result, users can use it as a tool to accelerate their dreams, whether in investment,
education, or other financial goals.

"The features and innovations that Jenius presents are a concrete step in supporting SMBC Indonesia's
vision to provide innovative and relevant financial solutions. Jenius hopes to assist users in setting and
achieving their financial resolutions in 2025, helping to build a better financial reputation," concluded
Febri.
