PRESS RELEASE
Chandra Asri Group Strengthens ESG Transparency, Achieves
Higher S&P Global CSA Score
Jakarta, September 10, 2026 – PT Chandra Asri Pacific Tbk (Chandra Asri Group), a leading
industrial company in Southeast Asia, recorded a higher score in the 2026 S&P Global Corporate
Sustainability Assessment (CSA), reaching 66, up from 52 in 2025. The improvement reflects the
Company’s continued efforts to strengthen transparency and the quality of information disclosed
on its Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices.
Under the S&P Global CSA methodology, public information is one of the sources used in the
assessment. Accordingly, strengthening ESG disclosure has been an important part of Chandra
Asri Group’s efforts to improve the quality and accessibility of its sustainability information. This
includes making relevant sustainability information and documents publicly available, supported
by independent third-party assurance of the Company’s 2025 Sustainability Report. The initiative
reinforces the quality, credibility, and accountability of the sustainability information disclosed to
stakeholders.
For Chandra Asri Group, the S&P Global CSA provides an important reference for assessing the
development of its ESG practices within the Indonesian capital market ecosystem. S&P Global
collaborates with the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) to provide ESG assessments for listed
companies, which, among other applications, support the development of ESG-based indices in
the Indonesian capital market. The higher score therefore reflects the Company’s ongoing efforts
to enhance transparency and the quality of ESG disclosures, while providing stakeholders with
greater visibility into its sustainability practices.
Head of ESG & Sustainability at Chandra Asri Group, Andang Pungkase, said, “The increase
in our S&P Global CSA score is one indication that our efforts to strengthen transparency and the
quality of ESG disclosures are moving in the right direction. For us, strengthening ESG goes
beyond improving reporting quality. It is also reflected in how we manage sustainability risks and
implement responsible practices across our supply chain. Going forward, we will continue to
advance ESG practices that are relevant to our business and create long-term value for Chandra
Asri Group and our stakeholders.” said Andang.
As part of these efforts, Chandra Asri Group has also strengthened transparency in its
management of sustainability risks through the publication of a series of thematic reports. These
include the Climate Risk Report, which adopts the IFRS S2 Climate-related Disclosures standard,
as well as the Emerging Risk Report, Water Risk Report, and Biodiversity Risk Report. These
reports provide more structured information on the Company’s approach to identifying, assessing,
and managing sustainability risks relevant to its operations.

The Company has also strengthened responsible business practices across its supply chain
through the issuance of a standalone Supplier Code of Conduct, separate from the Company’s
Code of Conduct. The guidelines establish more specific expectations for suppliers in
implementing responsible business practices, including ethics, compliance, and sustainability
principles.
The higher S&P Global CSA score is part of Chandra Asri Group’s broader commitment to
strengthening responsible and sustainable business practices. Going forward, the Company will
continue to integrate sustainability into its operations while remaining adaptive to evolving
business developments and stakeholder needs, creating positive impact and sustainable value
for its stakeholders and the wider business ecosystem.
