Press Release MMIX Accelerates Completion of Diaper Factory in Collaboration with China Jakarta, June 2026 – PT Multi Medika Internasional Tbk (MMIX) continues to accelerate its business transformation by accelerating the construction of a strategic diaper factory in collaboration with Chinese manufacturing giant Fujian Nice Paper, through its joint venture, PT Multi Nice Paper Indonesia (MNPI). This healthcare and personal care issuer's massive expansion is focused on a production facility on a one-hectare plot of land in Tangerang, Banten, which is planned to have a production capacity of up to 900 diapers per minute, the fastest in Indonesia. CEO & Founder MMIX, Mengky Mangarek emphasized that this step is part of the company's strategy to strengthen its investment portfolio in the personal care sector, supporting sustainable business development. "The construction of this integrated facility will accelerate the localization process for the production of their flagship baby diaper brand, MIUBaby, which has successfully secured exclusive distribution channels in major modern retail chains like Indomaret and other modern retail," said Mengky Mangarek in a written statement in Jakarta, Thursday (June 4, 2026). The establishment of this local manufacturing base is designed not only to focus production on the baby diaper segment, but is also being prepared to gradually produce adult diapers, sanitary napkins, and even wet wipes.

Technically, the production line at this high-speed MNPI factory has massive potential for maximum performance in the future, equivalent to a projected 1.8 billion diapers per year. In the corporate long-term plan, he continued, MMIX is committed to continuously expanding the capacity of this factory to operate a total of 10 fully autonomous production lines. Through this upstream-to-downstream vertical integration strategy, the company is targeting progressive operational cost efficiencies and much stricter quality control, which is projected to significantly reduce the Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and strengthen the company's net profit margin. This fundamental transformation from a heavy distributor of licensed imported products to a major manufacturing producer is projected to be MMIX's biggest financial growth engine.

The Mom & Baby Care segment is targeted to contribute 40% to 50% of the company's total revenue throughout 2026. Management is optimistic about achieving the baby care segment's growth target of 11% or more, driven by the upcoming operation of the new factory and the growing awareness of high-quality products among parents in the domestic market. "On the stock exchange, the aggressive progress of this collaborative factory project continues to be positively responded to by capital market players. We are optimistic about achieving a production rate of 1,000 units per minute," he concluded.
