Press Release
Commitment to Increase HR Productivity:
Elnusa Synergizes with Pertamina University
Jakarta, 19 August 2024 – PT Elnusa Tbk (ELNUSA, IDX: ELSA) a subsidiary of PT Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE) which is part
of the Pertamina Upstream Subholding, continues to be committed to improving employee competency through various
strategic initiatives. One of the concrete steps that has been taken is the implementation of a technical competency
assessment that has been ongoing since 2023. After successfully conducting an assessment with a focus on the operational
field, this year Elnusa began to expand the scope of the assessment to the share service field.
This strategic initiative is getting stronger with the signing of a cooperation agreement with Pertamina University, which
has experience and resources in the field of education that is not only limited to the oil and gas industry, but also
management and other fields. With extensive competencies and a complete competency dictionary, Pertamina University
is the right strategic partner for Elnusa to synergize in forming a competency dictionary and implementing assessments.
Elnusa's HR & General Director Hera Handayani, stated that this cooperation is expected to provide significant benefits for
both parties. "With this collaboration, we hope to improve the quality of assessments that are not only limited to technical
aspects, but also other aspects that are relevant to the needs of companies and industries. We also hope that this
collaboration can develop further into other areas that can provide long-term benefits for Elnusa and Pertamina University,"
said Hera.
In line with this, Prof. Dr. techn. Djoko Triyono, Vice Chancellor for Research, Development, and Cooperation of Pertamina
University, expressed his commitment to supporting Elnusa through contributions in compiling a complete competency
dictionary and a more comprehensive assessment. "We have great potential in the fields of education and research, which
can be utilized to support industry needs. This collaboration is a positive step for both institutions in encouraging the
improvement of the quality of more competitive human resources," said Djoko.
With the synergy between Elnusa and Pertamina University, it is hoped that more effective and efficient innovation and
competency development can be created, which ultimately supports superior HR productivity.
