PT PP London Sumatra Indonesia Tbk Announced the First Semester of 2024 Financial Performance
Jakarta, July 31, 2024
PT PP London Sumatra Indonesia Tbk (Lonsum or the Company) today announced its interim consolidated
financial statements for the six-month period ended June 30, 2024 (1H2024).
In 1H2024, Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) nucleus production was 514 thousand tonnes, similar compared to 1H2023.
In line with lower FFB from external, total CPO production declined 6% yoy to 123 thousand tonnes.
Lonsum recorded sales of Rp1.8 trillion in 1H2024, 4% yoy lower primarily due to lower sales volume which was
partly offset by higher average selling prices of palm products.
Operating profit increased 422% yoy to Rp613 billion and profit for the period attributable to owners of the
parent grew 259% yoy to Rp598 billion. Lonsum did not have funding through bank loan as of June 30, 2024.
Mr. Benny Tjoeng, the President Director of Lonsum commented, “In the first semester of 2024, Lonsum posted
a positive performance despite the challenges in the agribusiness sector continued particularly commodity
prices volatility, weather impacts and global uncertainties.
Lonsum remains focused on cost control and efficiency, improve productivity and focus on good agricultural
practices in a sustainable manner.“

Sumatra Indonesia Tbk Melaporkan Kinerja Keuangan Semester 1 Tahun 2024

Pada hari ini PT PP London Sumatra Indonesia Tbk (Lonsum atau Perseroan) melaporkan laporan keuangan
konsolidasian interim untuk periode enam bulan yang berakhir pada tanggal 30 Juni 2024 (1H2024).
Pada 1H2024, produksi Tandan Buah Segar (TBS) inti sebesar 514 ribu ton, sama dibandingkan 1H2023. Seiring
penurunan TBS dari eksternal, produksi CPO turun 6% yoy menjadi 123 ribu ton.
Lonsum membukukan penjualan sebesar Rp1,8 triliun di 1H2024, turun 4% yoy terutama karena penurunan
volume penjualan yang sebagian diimbangi oleh kenaikan harga jual rata-rata produk sawit.
Laba usaha naik 422% yoy menjadi Rp613 miliar dan laba periode berjalan yang dapat diatribusikan kepada
pemilik entitas induk meningkat 259% yoy menjadi Rp598 miliar. Lonsum tidak ada pendanaan melalui hutang
bank pada tanggal 30 Juni 2024.
Bapak Benny Tjoeng, Presiden Direktur Lonsum mengatakan, “Pada semester pertama tahun 2024, Lonsum
mencatat kinerja yang positif meskipun berbagai tantangan pada sektor agribisnis berlanjut terutama volatilitas
harga komoditas, dampak cuaca dan ketidakpastian global.
Lonsum tetap berfokus pada pengendalian biaya dan efisiensi, meningkatkan produktivitas serta berfokus pada
praktik-praktik agrikultur yang baik secara berkelanjutan.“
