Press Release
Elnusa Strengthens Integrated Energy Services
Business through Technological Innovation at IPA
Convex 2026
Jakarta, 21 Mei 2026 – PT Elnusa Tbk (ELNUSA, IDX: ELSA) continues to strengthen its transformation as an integrated
energy services company through technological development and innovation that support operational efficiency, energy
infrastructure reliability, and industry sustainability. This moment was demonstrated through Elnusa’s participation in The
50th Indonesian Petroleum Association Convention & Exhibition (IPA Convex) 2026, alongside PT Pertamina Hulu Energi
(PHE) as part of Pertamina’s Upstream Subholding.
Participation in Southeast Asia’s largest oil and gas event is part of Elnusa’s strategy to strengthen its positioning as an
integrated energy service provider with technological excellence and value-added solutions. Carrying the 2026 corporate
theme “Rediscover Technology and Innovation Edge”, Elnusa emphasizes its focus on developing innovation-based services
that support business growth while addressing the increasingly dynamic needs of the energy industry.
Director of Business Development at PT Elnusa Tbk, Arief Prasetyo Handoyo, stated that IPA Convex 2026 is not merely an
industry exhibition, but a strategic momentum for Elnusa to demonstrate its readiness in capabilities and technological
solutions that can strengthen the competitiveness of the national energy industry. "Through the spirit of Rediscover
Technology and Innovation Edge, Elnusa continues to develop technologies and solutions that not only enhance operational
efficiency and reliability, but also create added value for customers and support the sustainability of the national energy
industry. We aim to deliver end-to-end services from upstream to downstream that are increasingly adaptive to future
industry needs," said Arief.
One of the featured innovations is the PertaStream Inline Inspection Ultrasonic Tool (ILI UT), an ultrasonic-based pipeline
inspection technology developed through collaboration between Pertamina, Pindad, and Elnusa. This technology supports
monitoring of oil and gas pipeline integrity from upstream to downstream sectors, with detection accuracy reaching up to
90%. The integration of big data analytics and comprehensive pipeline health monitoring makes this solution capable of
enhancing operational reliability, strengthening leak risk mitigation, and driving efficiency in energy infrastructure
maintenance.
Elnusa also introduced Foam Pig Development as part of the Pipeline Integrity Management ecosystem, an in-line pipe
cleaning technology independently manufactured domestically. This innovation not only supports the efficiency of oil and
gas operations, but also strengthens national technology development and Increases the Domestic Component Level, in
line with the reinforcement of the domestic energy supply chain.
In addition to the exhibition, Elnusa actively shared its technical capabilities through various technical presentations
discussing oil and gas operations development, ranging from proppant-free well stimulation technology, optimization of 3D
OBN seismic acquisition in Papua, to the implementation of Hydraulic Workover Unit (HDU) as an alternative drilling
operation in swamp areas with specific requirements where engineering, operations, and HSSE aspects are key
prerequisites. These innovations demonstrate Elnusa’s ability to deliver technological solutions that are more efficient,
adaptive, and productivity oriented.
