Bogor, June 4, 2024 – PT BISA Ruang Nuswantara (BIRU), a subsidiary of PT Delta Dunia Makmur
Tbk (Delta Dunia Group, IDX: DOID), focused on education, vocational education, and circular
economy, officially inaugurated a partnership for the Human Resource Skills Development Training
with Royal Tulip Gunung Geulis Hotel in Gunung Geulis, Bogor, West Java. This partnership
reinforces BIRU's commitment to expanding its contribution to the growth of the hospitality industry
ecosystem, particularly the hotel sector, while supporting the government's agenda in enhancing
human resource competencies.

The partnership encompasses training, mentoring, consulting, and competency development to
improve the quality of vocational high school (SMK) students in the hospitality sector. The students will
undergo a series of focused and practical competency training in areas such as front office,
housekeeping, and food and beverage services. Furthermore, BIRU will arrange for students from
affiliated SMKs to undertake internships at the Royal Tulip Gunung Geulis Hotel, offering them firsthand
experience in a five-star hotel environment. The Royal Tulip Gunung Geulis Hotel will actively
participate in reviewing and validating the educational and training modules developed by BIRU.

According to the 2024 National Labor Force Survey by Statistics Indonesia (BPS), vocational high
school graduates have the highest open unemployment rate at 8.62 percent. The hospitality sector
offers significant career opportunities for vocational graduates, with the hotel industry's projected
workforce demand set to reach 8.6 million between 2024 and 2025. The Bisa Ruang Vokasi (BRV)
platform integrates vocational education with industry through a ‘link and match’ concept, aligning with
the government's sustainable development goals to enhance human resource competencies while
bridging the gap between the educational curriculum and the workforce skills in demand.
