MAHA-BYAN Agrees to Extend Coal Hauling
Contract for 10 Years Worth IDR 23.9 Trillion
JAKARTA, June 5th 2024 – On Monday, June 3rd 2024, PT Mandiri Herindo Adiperkasa Tbk (“MAHA”)
or Mandiri Services, one of the largest mining transportation service providers in Indonesia, has
signed an extension to it’s coal transportation contract extension (hauling) with PT Indonesia
Pratama, a subsidiary of PT. Bayan Resources Tbk (“BYAN”), for the Tabang coal mine in East
Kalimantan.

The agreed amendment has the impact of increasing MAHA's revenue at an estimated 19 trillion
Rupiah or the equivalent of US$ 1.2 billion until 2034. Taking into account the prior contract values,
the estimated total revenue would be 23.9 trillion Rupiah or US$ 1.5 billion. This amendment
includes an additional transportation target of 289 million tonnes. The total amount of coal to be
transported by MAHA for 10 years from 2024 to 2034 amounts to 368 million tonnes.

As previously released, MAHA has been servicing coal transportation or hauling needs at the
Tabang Project with BYAN since 2017. MAHA continues to target contract extensions and target
incremental growth in the future. Prior to this amendment, the MAHA contract with BYAN ended in
2027. However, with this extension the validity period now covers 10 years until 2034.

Currently, MAHA has established coal transportation cooperation with many mine owners or large
contractors, such as: PT Mandiri Intiperkasa ("MCOL"), PT Kideco Jaya Agung ("INDY"), PT
Pamapersada Nusantara ("UNTR"), PT Multi Tambangjaya Utama (“CUAN”) and PT Darma Henwa
Tbk (“DEWA”).

Obtaining or extending a long-term coal transportation service contract is one of MAHA's efforts
to build a sustainable business. In addition, the long-term partnership is proof of the trust of mine
owners and contractors in MAHA's achievements so far as a reliable provider of coal transportation
services.
