Humpuss Maritim Perkuat Armada Kapal Tanker dan Tug Boat Jakarta, 29 Mei 2024 - Perusahaan distribusi dan infrastruktur energi serta ekosistem kepelabuhan, PT Humpuss Maritim Internasional Tbk. (“Kode saham: HUMI” atau “Perusahaan”) menambah satu unit armada kapal tanker untuk pertumbuhan yang berkelanjutan Perusahaan. Tirta Hidayat, Direktur HUMI, mengatakan pengadaan 1 kapal tanker merupakan realisasi rencana pengembangan usaha PT PCS Internasional (PCSI), salah satu anak usaha HUMI yang telah dicanangkan untuk tahun 2024. "Kapal oil/chemical tanker bernama MT Mutiara Global, yang dibangun pada tahun 2002 dengan DWT sebesar 7,971.56 ton, untuk memenuhi kebutuhan kapal Small II - White Oil yang semakin meningkat, " ungkap Tirta. Sebelumnya, kebutuhan kapal Small II - White Oil dipenuhi dengan penyewaan MT Griya Ternate yang dilengkapi dengan tangki stainless. Dengan hadirnya MT Mutiara Global, PCSI dapat mengoptimalkan penggunaan MT Griya Ternate untuk keperluan transportasi produk petrochemical seperti caustic soda, methanol, dan lain-lain. Hal ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efisiensi operasional dan memaksimalkan potensi bisnis di sektor petrochemical. “Bisnis angkutan minyak dan kimia masih menjadi salah satu kontributor utama pendapatan Perusahaan pada tahun lalu, yaitu masing-masing sebesar US$20.578.214 dan US$14.429.389,” paparnya. Tirta menambahkan, kenaikan pendapatan pada sektor angkutan minyak dan kimia didukung oleh perolehan kontrak baru, penambahan kapal dan optimalisasi utilisasi kapal yang lebih baik dibandingkan pada tahun 2022. Penambahan Dua Kapal Tug Boat Melalui anak usaha HUMI lainnya, pada awal bulan Mei 2024, PT Humpuss Transportasi Curah (HTC) juga telah menambah dua kapal tug boat ke dalam armada mereka. Langkah strategis ini tidak hanya memperkuat kapasitas operasional perusahaan, tetapi juga menunjukkan komitmen HUMI dalam mengembangkan dan memperkuat infrastruktur transportasi laut di Indonesia. Kapal tug boat yang akan memiliki fungsi sebagai tug assists memiliki peran yang sangat vital dalam hal penarikan dan pendorongan kapal-kapal besar di pelabuhan. Tug boat membantu

dalam navigasi kapal besar yang memiliki keterbatasan manuver, terutama di area yang sempit atau sibuk seperti pelabuhan. Dengan adanya tug boat, risiko kecelakaan kapal dapat diminimalisir dan proses sandar-menyandar menjadi lebih aman dan cepat. Humpuss Maritim Strengthens Fleet with New Tanker and Tug Boats Jakarta, May 29, 2024 - PT Humpuss Maritim Internasional Tbk. (“Stock Code: HUMI” or “the Company”), a distribution and energy infrastructure company with a focus on port ecosystems, has added a new tanker to its fleet for sustainable growth. Tirta Hidayat, President Director of HUMI, stated that the acquisition of this tanker is part of the business development plan for PT PCS Internasional (PCSI), one of HUMI’s subsidiaries, slated for 2024. "The oil/chemical tanker named MT Mutiara Global, built in 2002 with a DWT of 7,971.56 tons, is intended to meet the increasing demand for Small II - White Oil tankers," Tirta explained. Previously, the demand for Small II - White Oil tankers was met by leasing the MT Griya Ternate, which is equipped with stainless steel tanks. With the addition of MT Mutiara Global, PCSI can optimize the use of MT Griya Ternate for transporting petrochemical products such as caustic soda, methanol, and others. This is expected to enhance operational efficiency and maximize business potential in the petrochemical sector. "The oil and chemical transportation business remained one of the main revenue contributors for the Company last year, amounting to US$20.578.214 and US$14.429.389, "he stated. Tirta added that the increase in revenue from the oil and chemical transportation sector was supported by new contract acquisitions, the addition of vessels, and better fleet utilization compared to 2022. Addition of Two Tug Boats Through another HUMI subsidiary, PT Humpuss Transportasi Curah (HTC), the company also added two tug boats to their fleet in early May 2024. This strategic move not only strengthens the company’s operational capacity but also demonstrates HUMI's commitment to developing and enhancing maritime transportation infrastructure in Indonesia. Tug boats, which serve as tug assists, play a crucial role in towing and pushing large ships into ports. They assist in navigating large vessels that have limited maneuverability, especially in narrow or busy areas like ports. The presence of tug boats minimizes the risk of ship accidents and makes the docking process safer and quicker.
