 Chandra Asri Group Enters the Infrastructure Development Phase
                 of the CA-EDC Plant Logistics
Jetty and Storage Tank Construction Drives Progress of the CA-EDC Chemical Plant Project



Jakarta, May 7, 2026 – PT Chandra Asri Pacific Tbk (Chandra Asri Group), a leading
provider of energy, chemicals, and infrastructure solutions in Southeast Asia, through its
subsidiary PT Chandra Asri Alkali (CAA), announced that the construction of its Chlor Alkali
and Ethylene Dichloride (CA-EDC) Plant has reached 66% completion. This milestone
marks the project’s transition into the development of key logistics infrastructure as part of
preparations toward plant operations.

Following the completion of several key construction stages, this world-scale plant project has
now entered the phase of jetty and storage tank development. The presence of this
infrastructure will support the smooth distribution, storage, and logistics management of Chlor
Alkali and Ethylene Dichloride (EDC) products, while also strengthening the connectivity of
the national and regional chemical industry supply chain.

Director of Human Resources & Corporate Affairs of Chandra Asri Group, Suryandi,
stated, “The development of the CA-EDC Plant has now entered the phase of key logistics
infrastructure development, which will play an important role in supporting the efficient
distribution and supply chain management of strategic chemical materials. We view integrated
infrastructure development as a critical element in building a more efficient and competitive
national chemical ecosystem. In the long term, we expect this facility to enhance Indonesia
competitiveness as a chemical industry hub in Southeast Asia.”

The CA-EDC Plant is designed to support the growing domestic demand for strategic basic
chemicals. In its initial operational phase, the facility is targeted to have an annual production
capacity of 827 thousand tons of caustic soda and 500 thousand tons of EDC.

Caustic soda production from this facility is projected to reduce Indonesia dependence on
imports while strengthening the reliability of raw material supply for various domestic
industries. In the long term, this production capacity has the potential to substitute imports of
up to approximately 827 thousand tons per year, with a value reaching USD 293 million or
equivalent to IDR 4.9 trillion.

Meanwhile, EDC production will be directed toward export markets. This initiative is expected
to generate foreign exchange potential of up to USD 300 million or approximately IDR 5 trillion
per year, while strengthening Indonesia’s position in the regional chemical industry supply
chain.

In addition to contributing to the strengthening of the national industry, the development of the
CA-EDC Plant also generates economic impact through job creation and the involvement of
