ELNUSA's First Quarter 2024 Net Profit, Increased 59% YoY
Jakarta, 30 April 2024 - PT Elnusa Tbk (ELNUSA, IDX: ELSA), a subsidiary of PT Pertamina Hulu Energi (PHE) which is part of
the Pertamina Upstream Subholding, posted stable operating income in the first quarter of 2024 compared to last year,
namely IDR 3, 1 trillion. The company generated gross profit of IDR 324 billion, recorded a net profit of IDR 183 billion,
growing 59% Year on Year (YoY) with a net profit margin increasing 61% from the same period compared to the previous
year.
This consolidated business income was contributed by the energy distribution & logistics services segment by 52%, the
upstream energy services segment by 38%, and energy supporting services by 10%. This shows an increase in business
income, especially in upstream energy services compared to the same period, namely an increase of 22%. Apart from
increasing business income, upstream energy services also recorded a significant increase in net profit, namely 202% from
the previous year in the same period. Meanwhile, energy distribution & logistics services recorded an increase in net profit
of 32%.
Elnusa's Corporate Secretary, Frida Lidwina, explained that Elnusa's performance in the first quarter of 2024 was the result
of management's efforts to maintain the continuity and consistent growth of the company's business. "The growth
recorded by Elnusa in the first 3 months of 2024 was driven by improved performance in the upstream energy services
segment," said Frida.
The company also showed solid performance by recording growth in Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and
Amortization (EBITDA) of IDR 372 billion, an increase compared to the same period in 2023, namely IDR 345 billion or
growth of 8%. The Company's total cash and cash equivalents as of March 31 2024 reached IDR 2.476 trillion, growing 20%
from the same period in 2023 of IDR 2.063 trillion.
Frida also emphasized, "We are committed to continuing to improve our performance and providing added value for our
stakeholders. We will continue to focus on innovation, operational efficiency and sustainable business development.
Through this strategy, we are optimistic that we can maintain stable business growth and provide "real contribution to the
national energy industry," concluded Frida.
