Kebutuhan Methanol Meningkat, Laba Bersih HUMI Naik 16%
Menjadi USD 12 Juta Selama Tahun 2023

JAKARTA – PT Humpuss Maritim Internasional Tbk (“Perseroan”) atau yang dikenal
dengan kode saham “HUMI”, berhasil mencatatkan laba bersih konsolidasi sebesar
USD 12,69 juta sepanjang tahun buku 2023, dikutip dari Laporan Keuangan Tahunan
Audit Perseroan. Laba bersih Perseroan mengalami kenaikan sebesar 15,94%
dibandingkan dengan pencapaian pada tahun 2022 sebesar USD 10,94 juta.
Secara pendapatan, Perseroan berhasil mencetak USD 106,38 juta sepanjang tahun
2023, mengalami kenaikan sebesar 16,22% dibandingkan pencapaian tahun 2022
sebesar USD 91,53 juta. Selanjutnya, Perseroan juga berhasil mencetak laba kotor
sebesar USD 29,15 juta, mengalami kenaikan sebesar 9,53% dibandingkan
pencapaian dengan tahun sebelumnya sebesar USD 26,61 juta.
Tirta Hidayat, Direktur Utama Perseroan menyampaikan bahwa pencapaian positif ini
didorong oleh pendapatan dari sektor transportasi kimia dari Perseroan yang berhasil
mengalami kenaikan sebesar 305,29% dibandingkan dengan tahun sebelumnya.
“Adanya pertumbuhan siginifikan akan permintaan akan kebutuhan kapal untuk
pengangkutan bahan kimia seperti asam sulfat dan methanol berhasil mendorong
pendapatan Perseroan pada sektor ini selama tahun 2023,” ujar Tirta.
Selain itu, adanya pertumbuhan pendapatan dari sektor Marine Support sebesar
70,41% dibandingkan 2022, juga menjadi katalis positif lainnya bagi Perseroan
selama tahun 2023. “Meningkatnya aktivitas pada Pelabuhan pada beberapa waktu
ini, mendorong adanya pertumbuhan permintaan akan kapal tunda,” kata Tirta.
Tirta juga menyatakan bahwa tren kebutuhan akan kapal pengangkut kimia dan kapal
penunjang lepas pantai akan terus mengalami tren kenaikan di masa yang akan
datang. Hal ini diakibatkan oleh meningkatnya kebutuhan bahan kimia methanol yang
menjadi bahan dasar Biodiesel, dimana pemerintah ingin meningkatkan persentase
campuran Biodiesel untuk bahan bakar transportasi dari 30% menjadi 35%.
Tirta menambahkan, "Melihat peningkatan kebutuhan akan kapal untuk transportasi
laut beberapa waktu ini, untuk tahun 2024 kami menargetkan pertumbuhan
pendapatan Perseroan sebesar 20%, target ini akan didorong oleh lini usaha kami
dalam sektor kimia.” kata Tirta pada akhir keterangan persnya.

Rising Demand for Methanol, HUMI’s Net Profit Increases by 16%
Reaching USD 12 Million During 2023

JAKARTA - PT Humpuss Maritim Internasional Tbk ("the Company"), known by the
stock code "HUMI," has successfully recorded a consolidated net profit of USD 12.69
million for the fiscal year 2023, as cited from the Company's Audited Annual Financial
Report. The Company's net profit experienced an increase of 15.94% compared to the
achievement in 2022, which amounted to USD 10.94 million.
In terms of revenue, the Company managed to achieve USD 106.38 million throughout
the year 2023, experiencing a 16.22% increase compared to the 2022 achievement of
USD 91.53 million. Furthermore, the Company also recorded a gross profit of USD
29.15 million, marking a 9.53% increase compared to the previous year's achievement
of USD 26.61 million.
Tirta Hidayat, the President Director of the Company, stated that this positive
achievement was driven by revenue from the chemical transportation sector of the
Company, which experienced a remarkable increase of 305.29% compared to the
previous year. "The significant growth in demand for vessels for transporting chemicals
such as sulfuric acid and methanol successfully propelled the Company's revenue in
this sector during 2023," said Tirta.
Furthermore, the growth in revenue from the Marine Support sector by 70.41%
compared to 2022 also served as another positive catalyst for the Company during
2023. "The increasing activity at the ports recently has driven the growth in demand
for tugboats," said Tirta.
Tirta also stated that the trend for the demand for chemical tankers and offshore
support vessels is expected to continue increasing in the future. This is due to the
rising demand for methanol chemicals, which serve as a fundamental component of
biodiesel, as the government aims to increase the percentage of biodiesel blend for
transportation fuel from 30% to 35%.
Tirta added, "Considering the rising demand for vessels in maritime transportation
recently, for the year 2024, we are targeting a 20% growth in the Company's revenue.
This target will be driven by our business line in the chemical sector," Tirta concluded
at the end of his press statement.
