Volume Ekspor Meningkat, Target Ekspor Asiamina Tahun 2023 Tercapai

Jakarta, Maret 2024. PT Asia Sejahtera Mina Tbk (“AGAR”) mencatat peningkatan volume
ekspor pada tahun 2023. Pada tahun 2023, Perseroan mencatatkan penjualan sebanyak 21
ribu ton rumput laut kering dimana sebelumnya volume penjualan tercatat 17,8 ribu ton pada
tahun 2022. Hal ini menandai adanya peningkatan volume penjualan, khususnya ekspor
sebesar 18%.
Selama tahun 2023, penjualan rumput laut kering didominasi oleh rumput laut jenis Eucheuma
Cottoni yaitu sebanyak 81% dari total penjualan. Diikuti rumput laut jenis Gracilaria sebanyak
14% dan jenis Echeuma Spinosum sebanyak 5%. Direktur Utama Perseroan, Indra
Widyadharma mengatakan bahwa rumput laut kering jenis Eucheuma Cottoni masih menjadi
produk andalan karena penggunaan dari jenis rumput laut tersebut sangat luas.
Pada segmentasi negara tujuan ekspor, China masih menjadi tujuan ekspor utama Perseroan
dengan nilai ekspor mencapai 93% dari total penjualan disusul Vietnam sebanyak 3,5% dan
Chile sebesar 1,4% dari total penjualan. Sisanya produk rumput laut kering Perseroan di-
supply ke Philippine, Hongkong, Spanyol hingga dalam Negeri.
“Peningkatan volume ekspor pada tahun 2023 menjadi angin segar bagi kami di tengah
kondisi ketidakpastian ekonomi dunia yang melanda pada tahun 2023. Tentunya di tahun
2024 kami menargetkan adanya pertumbuhan penjualan sekitar 5% - 10%” ungkapnya.
Selain target peningkatan volume ekspor, Perseroan juga menargetkan cakupan ekspor yang
lebih luas. “Tentunya kami berupaya untuk tetap menjaga standar kualitas rumput laut kering
yang kami supply. Selain itu kami juga berupaya dalam hal meningkatkan nilai tambah produk,
salah satu nya dengan memproduksi Semi Refine Carrageenan (SRC) dan Alkali Treated
Cottoni (ATC)” tutupnya.

Export Volume Increases, Asiamina's 2023 Export Target Achieved

Jakarta, March 2024. PT Asia Sejahtera Mina Tbk (“AGAR”) has recorded an increase in
export volume in 2023. In 2023, the Company recorded sales of 21 thousand tons of dried
seaweed, compared to 17.8 thousand tons in 2022. This represents an 18% increase in
sales volume, particularly in exports.
During 2023, dried seaweed sales were dominated by the Eucheuma Cottoni type, accounting
for 81% of total sales. This was followed by the Gracilaria type at 14% and the Echeuma
Spinosum type at 5%. The Company's President Director, Indra Widyadharma, said that the
Eucheuma Cottoni type of dried seaweed is still the mainstay product because the application
of this type of Seaweed are very wide.
In terms of export destination segmentation, China is still the Company's main export
destination with an export value of 93% of total sales, followed by Vietnam at 3.5% and Chile
at 1.4% of total sales. The rest of the Company's dried seaweed products are supplied to the
Philippines, Hong Kong, Spain and domestically.
“The increase in export volume in 2023 is a breath of fresh air for us amid the global economic
uncertainty that hit in 2023. Of course, in 2024 we are targeting sales growth of around 5%
- 10%,” he said.
In addition to targeting an increase in export volume, the Company is also targeting a wider
export coverage. "Of course, we strive to maintain the quality standards of the dried seaweed
we supply. In addition, we are also trying to increase the added value of the product, one of
which is by producing Semi Refine Carrageenan (SRC) and Alkali Treated Cottoni" he
concluded.
