Re. Keuangan Konsolidasian PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk (“Perseroan”) untuk Tahun
yang Berakhir 31 Desember 2023/Explanation regarding Changes of More than 2044
in the Posts of Total Assets of Consolidated Financial Statements for the Year
Ended 31 December 2023 of PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk (the “Company”).

Merujuk pada butir 1Il.1.1.4 Keputusan Direksi
PT Bursa Efek Indonesia Nomor: Kep-
00015/BEI/01-2021 tanggal 29 Januari 2021
tentang Perubahan Peraturan Nomor I-E tentang
Kewajiban Penyampaian Informasi (“Peraturan
I-E”), bersama ini Perseroan menyampaikan
kepada BEI bahwa Perseroan telah mengalami
perubahan lebih dari 2096 pada Pos Jumlah Aset
pada Laporan Keuangan Konsolidasian untuk
tahun yang berakhir 31 Desember 2023.

Jumlah Aset Perseroan per 31 Desember 2023
mengalami kenaikan sebesar 28,1”5 menjadi
sebesar  AS$4.964.258.915 dibandingkan
dengan Laporan Keuangan Konsolidasian per
31 Desember 2022 sebesar AS$3.876.665.735.
Kenaikan tersebut terutama disebabkan oleh
kenaikan pada pos aset tetap sebesar
AS$560.939.587, persediaan sebesar
AS$252.836.079, pajak dibayar di muka
AS$83.944.420, kas dan bank AS$74.791.598,
serta aset eksplorasi dan evaluasi sebesar
AS$65.378.622.

Adapun penyebab peningkatan signifikan atas
aset-aset tersebut terutama disebabkan oleh
proses pembangunan pabrik Acid Iron Metal
(“AIM”) di Morowali, pembangunan infrastruktur
pertambangan oleh PT Sulawesi Cahaya Mineral
dan peningkatan produksi Nicke/ Pig Iron
("NPI”) atas telah beroperasinya pabrik
PT Zhao Hui Nickel dan nikel matte oleh
PT Huaneng Metal Industry sebagai dampak
hasil akuisisi oleh Grup.

Dear Sir(s),

In accordance with point 11.1.1.4 of Decision
Letter of the Board of Directors of the Indonesia
Stock Exchange Number: Kep-00015/BEI/01-
2021 dated 29 January 2021 regarding
Amendment of Regulation Number I-£E on
Obligation to Disclosure of Information
(“Regulation I-E”), the Company hereby informs
to IDX changes of more than 2046 in its Total
Assets in the Consolidated Financial Statements
for year ended 31 December 2023.

The total Assets of the Company as of
31 December 2023 increased by 28.146 to a total
of US$4,964,258,915 compared to Consolidated
Financial Statements as of 31 December 2022
amounting to US$3,876,665,735. The increment
was mainly due to increment in property, plant,
and eguipments amounting to US$560,939,587,
inventory  amounting to  US$252,836,079,
prepaid tax amounting to US$83,944,420, cash
and bank amounting to US$74,791,598, and
exploration and evaluation asset amounting to
US$65,378,622.

The significant increase of these assets were
mainly due to construction of Acid Iron Metal
(“AIW”) plant at Morowali, development of mining
infrastructure by PT Sulawesi Cahaya Mineral
and the increase Nickel Pig Iron (“NPI”)
production due to the operation of the
PT Zhao Hui Nickel plant and nickel matte by
PT Huaneng Metal Industry as a result of the
acguisition by the Group.
