PRESS RELEASE Protelindo Sampaikan Penjelasan Terkait Kepemilikan Saham PT Bakrie Telecom Tbk Jakarta, 26 Agustus 2026 – PT Profesional Telekomunikasi Indonesia (“Protelindo” atau “Perseroan”) menyampaikan penjelasan atas sejumlah pemberitaan media massa tanggal 24 Agustus 2026 mengenai kepemilikan saham PT Bakrie Telecom Tbk (“BTEL”) oleh Protelindo. Kepemilikan saham BTEL tersebut terjadi sebagai akibat dari pelaksanaan konversi Obligasi Wajib Konversi (OWK) berdasarkan Perjanjian Perdamaian (bukan pelaksanaan Repurchase Agreement) tanggal 8 Desember 2014 antara BTEL dengan para kreditur terkait, termasuk Perseroan. Perjanjian Perdamaian tersebut merupakan tindak lanjut atas putusan Pengadilan Niaga pada Pengadilan Negeri Jakarta Pusat terkait Penundaan Kewajiban Pembayaran Utang Sementara (PKPU) BTEL tanggal 10 November 2014. Kepemilikan saham tersebut tidak bersifat material terhadap kegiatan usaha maupun kondisi keuangan Perseroan. Dalam menjalankan strategi bisnisnya, Perseroan tetap berfokus pada pengembangan kegiatan usaha utamanya dan senantiasa mempertimbangkan setiap peluang bisnis secara selektif dengan memperhatikan kepentingan jangka panjang Perseroan dan para pemangku kepentingan. PRESS RELEASE Protelindo Provides Clarification Regarding Its Shareholding in PT Bakrie Telecom Tbk Jakarta, 26 August 2026 – PT Profesional Telekomunikasi Indonesia (“Protelindo” or the “Company”) provides clarification regarding certain media reports dated 24 August 2026 concerning Protelindo’s shareholding in PT Bakrie Telecom Tbk (“BTEL”). The shareholding in BTEL resulted from the conversion of Mandatory Convertible Bonds (MCB) pursuant to the Settlement Agreement dated 8 December 2014 between BTEL and the relevant creditors, including the Company, and did not result from the execution of a Repurchase Agreement. The Settlement Agreement was entered into as a follow-up to the decision of the Commercial Court at the Central Jakarta District Court concerning BTEL’s Temporary Suspension of Debt Payment Obligations (PKPU) dated 10 November 2014. The shareholding is not material to the Company’s business operations or financial condition. As part of its business strategy, the Company remains focused on developing its core businesses and continues to evaluate business opportunities selectively, taking into account the long-term interests of the Company and its stakeholders.
