Kepala Kelompok Kerja Kapasitas Nasional Divisi Rantai Suplai SKK Migas, Maria
Kristanti Wiharto memberikan apresiasi atas komitmen anak usaha SUNI dalam
mengembangkan industri manufaktur dalam negeri dari yang tadinya PMA menjadi
PMDN dan memiliki sertifikat TKDN sehingga dapat memasok kebutuhan barang-
barang dalam negeri. “Kami sangat mengapresiasi RTM yang dapat menjadi contoh
sukses bagaimana industri dalam negeri dapat berkembang, ini juga dapat
memberikan multiplier effect untuk industri hulu migas dan industri lainnya. Saya
berterima kasih sekali bahwa saya bisa menjadi bagian untuk bisa melihat semua
proses ini,” kata Maria.

Presiden Direktur RTM, Srie Martina mengatakan bahwa Perseroan juga berkomitmen
untuk meningkatkan implementasi ESG di lingkungan pabrik plant 2. RTM telah
bekerja sama dengan PLN untuk merancang penggunaan panel surya pada rooftop
factory seluas 11.000 m2 yang akan menghasilkan listrik 0.5-1 MW. Perseroan juga
memastikan rencana pembangunan yang mengalokasikan 12% area pabrik menjadi
area hijau. Dari aspek sosial, kehadiran pabrik baru RTM dapat menyerap tenaga kerja
lokal sampai dengan 250 pekerja di Batam.

Tantangan perseroan saat ini adalah memastikan bahwa delivery produk ke
pelanggan dapat berjalan tepat waktu, dengan adanya pabrik baru Perseroan
optimistis dapat memenuhi kebutuhan pelanggan baik secara volume maupun dari
sisi waktu pengiriman. Dengan adanya production line di pabrik baru, Perseroan dapat
tetap mengoptimalkan aktivitas produksi di saat proses maintenance sedang
dilakukan di production line yang telah ada. Selain untuk meningkatkan kinerja
Perseroan, ini merupakan bagian dari peningkatan layanan Perseroan kepada
pelanggan ke depannya.

tubing yang belum terpenuhi, ditambah dengan target pemerintah untuk meningkatkan produksi migas hingga
tahun 2030, SUNI memiliki potensi besar untuk meningkatkan kapasitas dan kinerja keuangan yang berkelanjutan

Boosting the Production Capacity of Strategic Asset,
       SUNI Constructs New Plant in Batam

Batam, 15 March 2024. PT Sunindo Pratama Tbk (SUNI IJ) officially commenced the
construction of Plant 2 for PT Rainbow Tubulars Manufacture (RTM) in Batam. RTM
is a crucial strategic asset for SUNI as it is an in-house producer of seamless
pipes/OCTG tubing, ensuring the product availability for SUNI. Following its previous
strategy to increase production capacity through Rp152.8 billion of capital injection to
RTM, the Company has also allocated Rp432 billion for capital expenditure (capex).
This fund will be utilized for land acquisition amounting to Rp57 billion, factory
construction costing Rp250 billion, and procurement of production machinery totaling
Rp125 billion.

The construction of the new plant spanning 50,793 m2 will double the production
capacity of seamless pipes/OCTG tubing to reach 60,000 tons per year, up from the
previous 30,000 tons per year. If the maximum capacity is achieved, the Company
can supply seamless OCTG tubing up to 70,000 tons per year. This increase in
production capacity supports the Company in diversifying its industrial pipe products
and expanding market share both domestically and internationally (export market).
The Company aims for this facility to operate in 2025 and to positively contribute to
the Company's operational and financial performance ahead.

The groundbreaking ceremony for the new plant construction was held on Thursday
(14/3) and was attended by President Director of SUNI, Willy Johan Chandra;
President Director of RTM, Srie Martina; Maria Kristanti Wiharto, Head of the National
Capacity Working Group of SKK Migas Supply Chain Division; Surya Kurniawan Suhairi,
Director of Cargo Traffic Services and Investment, Batam Industrial Development
Agency, represented by Yani Alkindi; Head of Waste Processing, Hazardous and Toxic
Waste, and Environmental Impact Assessment at the Riau Islands Province
Environmental Agency, Ir. Edison M.Si.; President Director of PT Pratama Widya Tbk,
Andreas Widhatama Kurniawan; and President Director of PT Lixicon Indonesia, Lio
Lixius Chan.

Willy Johan Chandra, President Director of SUNI, stated that the establishment of the
new SUNI plant also aims to strengthen the local pipe industry to meet future oil and
gas exploration and exploitation needs. The Company is committed to support the
government's program, which has set targets for oil and gas lifting at 1 million BOPD
(barrels of oil per day) and 12 BSCFD (billion standard cubic feet per day) respectively
by 2030. With these targets, Indonesia becomes a captive market for seamless

pipes/OCTG tubing products, offering opportunities for the Company to ensure its
future business sustainability.

regulations setting local content standards (TKDN) to reduce dependence on
imported products, coupled with the increasing energy needs in the future," said Willy.

Maria Kristanti Wiharto, Head of the National Capacity Working Group of SKK Migas
Supply Chain Division, expressed appreciation for SUNI's subsidiary's commitment in
developing domestic manufacturing industries, transforming from a foreign
investment (PMA) to a domestic investment (PMDN) and obtaining local content
certification. "We highly appreciate RTM's success story in how the domestic industry
can grow, which can also create a multiplier effect for the upstream oil and gas
industry and other sectors. I am very grateful to witness all these processes," said
Maria.

Srie Martina, President Director of RTM, stated that the Company is also committed
to enhancing ESG implementation within the Plant 2 environment. RTM has
collaborated with PLN to design the use of solar panels on the 11,000 m2 factory
rooftop, which will generate 0.5-1 MW of electricity. The Company also ensures that
the development plan allocates 12% of the factory area as green space. From a social
aspect, the presence of the new RTM factory can provide employment opportunities
for up to 250 local workers in Batam.

The Company's current challenge is to ensure timely product delivery to customers.
With the new plant, the Company is optimistic about meeting customer needs both in
terms of volume and delivery time. With a production line in the new plant, the
Company can optimize production activities even when maintenance processes are
ongoing in the existing production line. This enhancement is not only aimed at
improving the Company's performance but also as part of the Company's
commitment to enhancing customer service in the future.
